‘Jersey Shore’: Roger Matthews Reveals That He Is in No Rush to Get Married, Despite Jwoww’s Engagement
Jersey Shore star Jenni ‘JWoww’ Farley is ready to say ‘I Do’ again. The mother of two and reality TV star recently announced her engagement to Zack Carpinello. Farley’s ex, Roger Matthews spoke out about the engagement on his podcast. While he’s happy for Farley and her fiancée, he’s in no rush to run down the aisle himself.
When did Jenni Farley and Roger Matthews divorce?
Farley and Matthews first met in 2009 during the filming of Jersey Shore. The couple announced their relationship in 2010 and welcomed their first child in 2014. The following year they were married, and in 2016 they announced the birth of their second child. In 2018, Farley and Matthew announced their separation. While it initially looked like the pair might patch things up, the divorce was on by December of the same year.
The couple finalized their divorce in August 2019. While their separation was contentious at first, they have since fallen into a rhythm when it comes to co-parenting their two children. Custody of their children, Meilani and Greyson, is split between the two.
How long has Jenni Farley been dating Zack Carpinello?
It didn’t take long for both Matthews and Farley to move on from their marriage. Shortly after they announced their split, Farley debuted her new relationship. Farley has only dated Carpinello since her split from Matthews. The pair first got together in early 2019, and Carpinello was featured on Jersey Shore shortly after they started hooking up.
In October 2019, the couple hit a rough patch when Farley found out Carpinello had hit on her co-star, Angelina Pivarnick. Farley and Carpinello separated briefly, but by the following month, they were spotted together again. They have been together ever since. According to Farley’s Instagram, Carpinello proposed on Feb. 27 in New York.
Roger Matthews is in no rush to pop the question to his own girlfriend
Matthews spoke out about Farley and Carpinello’s engagement. The father of two discussed the news on his podcast, Champ and The Tramp. Matthews insists he’s super happy for his ex-wife and her new man, although he admitted he hasn’t spent a ton of time talking to Carpinello. According to Matthews, the professional wrestler isn’t a great conversationalist. Regardless, he insists that as long as he is good to the two kids Matthews shares with Farley, everything is fine.
Matthews made it clear that Farley’s engagement hasn’t made him feel pressured to do the same. Matthews has been dating Danielle Miele, a cosmetologist, since early 2020. The pair largely keep their private life private, but Miele has been featured on Matthew’s Instagram page before. During the podcast, he said that he is happy with this relationship and where they are at and that while he would never say never to getting married again, he’s in no big rush. Still, things appear to be serious between the pair.
