‘Jersey Shore’: Sammi Giancola Teases Excitement to be Back for ‘Another Wonderful Season’
Former Jersey Shore star Sammi Giancola dropped some big news on her social media followers. The only original cast member who has not returned as a cast member of MTV’s Jersey Shore: Family Vacation shocked fans with an Instagram post where she claimed she was “so excited to be back” for another season. However, her comments had a twist her followers didn’t expect.
When did Sammi Giancola last appear on ‘Jersey Shore’?
Giancola last appeared on Jersey Shore in 2012, the final year the popular MTV reality show aired.
At the time the show came to a close, the cast had filmed together for six seasons. Their journey took them from the shore town of Seaside Heights, New Jersey, to Miami, Italy, and back to Jersey, where the show concluded.
Alongside Mike Sorrentino, Paul DelVecchio, Nicole Polizzi, Jenni Farley, Deena Cortese, Angelina Pivarnick, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, and Vinny Guadagnino, Giancola became one of the network’s most recognizable faces.
However, after six seasons living life in the public eye, Giancola took a step back from the spotlight and focused on starting a small business.
Giancola last appeared on television alongside her castmates in episodes of Snooki & Jwoww and participated in the 2017 E! memorable titled Reunion Road Trip: Return to the Jersey Shore.
However, upon news the series would return to MTV in 2018, Giancola declined to be a part of the cast. She subsequently took to Instagram to reveal why she did not participate in the reboot.

In the caption of an Instagram post dated March 27, Giancola posed behind the counter of her store, Sweetheart Styles. The brick-and-mortar location is on the Ocean City, New Jersey boardwalk.
The store officially opened its doors in the summer of 2021.
Giancola wrote, “Working so hard to get Sweetheart Coast open for you all for another wonderful season! So excited to be back in beautiful Ocean City, NJ, again! Come find us on the boardwalk; the opening date will be announced soon!”

Fans were hopeful Giancola’s caption teased a potential return to the MTV show that made her a reality television star.
However, her comments were directed toward what she hoped was another successful season for her store.

In the comments section of Giancola’s post, fans supported the former reality star in her small business. However, many hoped her post had to do with returning to Jersey Shore: Family Vacation as a cast member.
“Aww, I thought this caption meant you were returning to the Jersey Shore cast,” wrote one Instagram user.
“It’s crazy! You’re the only one with her original face from the original cast, and you look younger than all of them. Wish you’d come back,” penned a second fan.
