‘Jersey Shore’ Star Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino Pokes Fun at Angelina Pivarnick During His Birthday Celebration
Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino celebrated his 38th birthday on July 4. He marked the occasion with a dinner with his wife Lauren and a few of his closest friends, including some of his Jersey Shore costars. Not present? Angelina Pivarnick. She’s apparently still on the outs with the rest of the gang after Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Jenni “JWoww” Farley, and Deena Cortese delivered a controversial bridesmaid speech at her wedding to Chris Larangeira in November 2019.
But the awkward speech was clearly on everyone’s minds. Polizzi, Farley, and Cortese toasted Sorrentino with a speech similar to the one they gave in honor of Pivarnick. Afterward, The Situation made a joke at his castmate’s expense.
The Situation gets a memorable toast from his friends
During the party, which was held at The Butcher’s Block restaurant in Long Branch, New Jersey, Snooki, JWoww, and Cortese decided to toast their long-time friend. Their speech echoed the one they gave at Pivarnick’s wedding, where they delivered lines like “you’re the lice to my hair” and “you are the trash to our bags.” The trio roasted Sorrentino in a similar way before sharing some more heartfelt feelings.
“We love you so much,” Polizzi said. “We are so proud of you and the man you’ve become.”
“You truly are our brother and I can’t imagine my life without you,” Cortese said.

Unlike Pivarnick, who had an infamously negative reaction to the speech from her bridesmaids, Sorrentino saw the humor in the situation. He responded by shading Pivarnick’s post-speech freak out at her wedding.
After his friends’ toast, Sorrentino turned to his wife to ask a question. “I don’t know honey, should we go outside and flip out?” That caused the whole party to burst out laughing.
Polizzi shared the video on Instagram, and fans also thought Sorrentino’s comment was hilarious.
“Hahaha you guys are the BEST!!! Love your sense of humor,” one commented.
Pivarnick freaked out about a similar toast
Pivarnick’s reaction to Farley, Polizzi, and Cortese’s speech at her wedding couldn’t have been more different than Sorrentino’s. While she initially laughed off the raunchy remarks from her bridesmaids, she quickly got upset, calling it “f*cked up.” She then stormed out of her own reception. Outside the venue, she vented about the toast to various people. “That was so distasteful. I’m never gonna film ever again,” she declared at the time.
Polizzi, Farley, and Cortese said they regretted the speech, which was meant to be in good fun. They tried to apologize to Pivarnick, but she wasn’t having it. The blow-up was a major factor in Snooki deciding not to return to the upcoming season of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. Farley has also hinted she is quitting the MTV show. Pivarnick, despite saying she was done with filming, will be back for season 3 of the Jersey Shore spinoff.
