‘Jersey Shore’: Why Hasn’t Vinny Guadagnino’s Dad Been On the Show?
Vinny Guadagnino‘s mother, Paola, and crazy Uncle Nino have become regular guests on Jersey Shore and Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. Though much of the “Keto Guido’s” life has been publicized, there’s one aspect that Jersey Shore fans don’t know much about — who is Guadagnino’s father and why hasn’t he ever been part of the MTV series?
Vinny has always been family oriented
Since the very early days of Jersey Shore, it was clear Guadagnino was extremely close to his family — especially his mother. The Jersey Shore roommates and fans alike found a love and appreciation for her overbearing need to cook, clean, and care for her son.
When she wasn’t providing the roommates with a home cooked meal, Paola was giving advice to Angelina Pivarnick about prenuptial agreements or checking in on Ronnie Ortiz-Magro to make sure he was doing OK. Jersey Shore has extended Guadagnino’s family considerably, as Paola has welcomed each roommate into her life with open arms.
Vinny Guadagnino’s family talk show
In 2013, Guadagnino explored a spinoff series called The Show With Vinny. The series was filmed in Guadagnino’s Staten Island home, where he would entertain the likes of celebrities including Mark Wahlberg, Brittany Snow, Perez Hilton, and Ciara, amongst others.
“These huge superstars are coming into the house as regular people,” Guadagnino told New York Daily News. “They leave the Hollywood life behind for a couple of hours. They get a nice home-cooked meal. We do different things with everybody. But the main idea is that they get to hang out with a real family.” Guadagnino’s family took part In the interviews, including his mother, Uncle Nino, and his siblings Antonella and Mariann. His father, who was living downstairs at the time, was never in an episode of The Show With Vinny.
Why hasn’t Vinny’s dad been on ‘Jersey Shore’?
Guadagnino’s father has never been seen on Jersey Shore, The Show With Vinny, or any of the other side projects Guadagnino has worked on. His father never wanted to be part of the reality television world and the “Keto Guido” respected his wishes. Guadagnino has never mentioned his father’s name or likeness on any of the shows he has worked on.
In his interview with the New York Daily News, Guadagnino explained his parents separated status. “My mother and father are separated, but we all get along and everything,” he said. “[My father] just never really got involved [in the reality television scene].
Who is Vinny Guadagnino’s dad?
Guadagnino’s father’s desire to remain out of the public eye has been successful so far. There’s not much information about him — his first name even isn’t public knowledge. For the most part, Guadagnino said he was raised by the women in his life, including his mother and sisters. He still owns a home on Staten Island close to Paola, who frequently visits to ensure Guadagnino is taken care of and well fed.
Since Guadagnino’s father wants to remain out of the public eye and has managed to do so, it’s likely Jersey Shore fans won’t get much more information unless he steps into the public eye.
