We watched Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar take care of their 19 children via TLC’s 19 Kids and Counting. And now, it’s their kids’ turns to take over the spotlight. Fans all have their favorite Duggars, and Jessa has attained quite a following thanks to her Instagram photos of her kids and Youtube channel of her sharing her parenting tips. And now, she’s sharing more content of her and her husband, Ben Seewald.

In February 2020, Jessa and Ben went on a seriously unusual date without their kids, Spurgeon, Henry, and Ivy. And the couple’s followers freaked out after they noticed Ben’s changing up his look in a serious way. Here’s what they said.

Jessa and Ben appear to have a seriously wholesome relationship. They met when Ben was the new kid at church at just 17 years old. And it was the rest of her family who helped facilitate their relationship, as they invited Ben over for dinner so he could get to know Jessa a bit better.

Now, years later, Jessa and Ben are still going strong. And Jessa frequently features Ben taking care of their three kids on her Instagram. On Sept. 13, 2019, Jessa posted a solo photo of Ben with a handlebar mustache that her followers loved even more, too. The caption was all about his facial hair, though she mimicked the Declaration of Independence. And she also noted how much she loves his beard.

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that beards can be great things,” Jessa captioned the post. “They can help protect the skin from harmful UV rays, as well as wind, chafing and traumatic injury. Big beards can be very attractive and handsome. He liked it, I loved it.”

Jessa and Ben posted photos from their grocery store date

Back in 2019, Jessa took a serious hiatus from posting photos of herself to the ‘gram. But now, she’s back. And on Feb. 20, she posted a photo of her and her husband in the aisles of a grocery store.

“Let’s be real— I live off grocery pickup most of the time,” Jessa captioned the post. “But grocery shopping is never more enjoyable than when we do it together.”

Many followers loved the photo and thought it was sweet how Jessa and Ben can seemingly have a blast doing mundane tasks together. And others had questions.

“Who took this picture? Another shopper?” one follower asked.

To that, Jessa answered, “Propped the iPhone up on a ledge and used the 3-sec timer.”

Just like his sweet wife, Ben also posted his own photo of his adventures shopping for food.

“Just grabbing some smoked paprika, combing the fresh produce for sales, and picking up a few bags of locally roasted coffee. I love shopping with you @jessaseewald!” he captioned his photo of him and Jessa holding up bags from Whole Foods. “Now let’s get in the kitchen and make something together.”

Fans think Ben looks shockingly different with a clean shave

While many of Jessa and Ben’s followers focused on their date, others were shocked to see Ben looking so clean-shaven. And others even commented on his slimmer physique.

“He looks so young with the clean shave!” one follower commented on Jessa’s post.

“Bens losing weight! Looking good you two,” yet another added.

“I had to do a double take- Ben looks different!” another follower wrote.

Others commented on Ben’s look on his post, too.

“Wow you look so different without the beard,” one of Ben’s followers noted.

It looks like fans are all in agreement: Ben’s looking different without the beard, and all that clean eating might be changing up his looks, too. Either way, we’re happy Jessa and Ben are making the most of their grocery store date nights. We’re excited to see what else they come up with in the future.
