Jessica Biel Is Still ‘Bothered’ By Justin Timberlake
Back in November, Justin Timberlake shocked the world when he was caught holding hands with his co-star Alisha Wainwright. An eyewitness told The Sun, who first reported the story, that the pair looked cozy together as they were both “smiling and laughing.”
Many fans are aware that Timberlake has been married to actress Jessica Biel for seven years now, and it seems that the couple will not break up over this scandal. However, that does not mean that things are completely okay on Biel’s end. According to reports, Biel is actually still quite “bothered” by Timberlake.
Justin Timberlake apologized for his ‘lapse of judgment’
After the photos with Wainwright were released, Timberlake took to social media to apologize for the incident.
“A few weeks ago I displayed a strong lapse in judgment – but let me be clear – nothing happened between me and my co-star,” the singer wrote. “I drank way too much that night and I regret my behavior. I should have known better.”
He continued: “This is not the example I want to set for my son. I apologize to my amazing wife and family for putting them through such an embarrassing situation, and I am focused on being the best husband and father I can be. This was not that.”
Additionally, a few sources also came to Timberlake’s defense. One person told People that Timberlake and Wainwright were just hanging out on a balcony with a few other people and that “it was definitely nothing happening.”
Jessica Biel is still ‘bothered’ by some things that Justin Timberlake does
It seems like Timberlake is ready to move on from this incident, and a source told Us Weekly that Biel would like to do so as well. However, it is hard to deny that the couple still has some issues to work out, especially since Biel is still “bothered” by what Timberlake often does.
“Jessica gets bothered when Justin seems like he’s on his phone for too long and she still has her suspicions, but he is insisting that nothing happened and has been telling her that she has zero reason not to trust him,” an insider shared. “She has made it known that she is not happy with him drinking too much and for acting the way that he did.”
The source clarified that Timberlake “knows he messed up and has been on his best behavior.”
Justin Timberlake had been accused of cheating in the past
Of course, it is easy to see why Biel would have some trouble trusting Timberlake. After all, this was not the first time that the couple had to deal with cheating rumors during their 11 years together.
Back in 2010, there were claims in the tabloids that Timberlake was cheating on Biel with actress Olivia Munn. It was said that Timberlake was “chasing” after Munn and that the two spent the night together at a hotel in New York City.
“[He] has been telling people it’s over with Jessica, even though the reality is he’s just doing it behind her back,” a source said at the time.
Timberlake’s reps denied these rumors, though Munn’s reps chose to not comment on her personal life.
At another time, there were also reports that Timberlake had cheated on Biel while touring in Europe. Heat Magazine published photos of Timberlake at a nightclub in Paris and wrote that the singer was “flirty with another woman.” The news outlet also attributed a few fake quotes to Biel.
In response, Timberlake filed a defamation lawsuit against the publisher of the magazine. The publisher eventually released an apology, acknowledging that the report was “unfounded” and that the quotes they published were not made by Biel.
