Jessica Biel Shines Solo at the U.S. Open, Enjoys a Friend Date Without Justin Timberlake
As Justin Timberlake continues to tour post-DWI arrest, his wife of 12 years is enjoying a much-needed break from production on The Better Sister. Jessica Biel has been filming the upcoming thriller TV series for months amid drama stemming from her husband’s arrest in June. What better way to blow off steam than a friend date to the U.S. Open?
Biel and an unnamed companion attended Day 3 of the 2024 U.S. Open in style. The pair sat in box seats with a great view of Flushing, New York’s Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. Model Coco Rocha and her husband, James Conran, sat in front of Biel and her pal, who chatted and laughed while they snacked and sipped drinks.
Moët & Chandon hosted the pair at the prestigious tennis competition and final Grand Slam of the 2024 circuit. Biel and her friend watched world No. 2 Novak Djokovic battle Laslo Djere. The former won the match in the third set when Djere was forced to forfeit due to an issue with his abdomen. Djokovic’s victory marked his 90th win at the U.S. Open, certainly an exciting milestone for spectators like Biel to witness.
The Sinner actor wore a silver blue linen set from Posse, including the Lorenzo vest ($259) and Parker trousers ($329). The comfortably chic outfit complemented Biel’s light summer tan and blunt bob. She accessorized with gold rings, gold bracelets, and a thick gold chain around her neck.
The mother of two is likely sticking around NYC due to her acting commitments. Cameras have spotted Biel all around the city filming scenes for The Better Sister alongside Elizabeth Banks and Corey Stoll. An adaptation of the titular 2019 novel by Alafair Burke, the thriller follows two sisters (Biel and Banks) after Biel’s character finds her husband, a prominent Manhattan lawyer (Stoll), dead.
Biel’s break from filming The Better Sister comes one day before Justin Timberlake continues his Forget Tomorrow World Tour. In support of his sixth album, Everything I Thought It Was, the 43-year-old began his first concert series in five years in Vancouver on April 29, 2024. Currently, Timberlake is touring Europe, with a show in Copenhagen, Denmark, tonight. Time will tell whether Biel and their sons Silas, 9, and Phineas, 4, join him on tour.
