The Duggar family continues to dominate the spotlight due to Josh Duggar’s trial and guilty verdict. But Jill Duggar’s pregnancy is bringing family followers a lot of joy. Jill announced her pregnancy and baby’s gender on Instagram and her family blog, and it came after a previous miscarriage. But critics noticed Jill Duggar’s Instagram announcement appears photoshopped.

Derick Dillard and Jill Duggar have two sons — and they’re about to have another. On March 23, 2022, Jill and Derick posted a photo with their boys, Israel and Samuel, on Instagram. The photo shows the family holding a blue balloon that spells out “baby.”
“Did you see our blog announcement?” the post caption reads. “It’s a boy!! We couldn’t be more excited! Thinking maybe we should pad our house and turn it into a trampoline park. Fellow boy moms … give me all your favorite tips and tricks!”
Jill added more information about her pregnancy to the Dillard Family blog for Duggar family followers. “We decided to make a special day of it by starting off by eating breakfast together at a local restaurant called the Buttered Biscuit,” she wrote regarding finding out the baby’s gender with her husband and kids. “Then, we did a little shopping before heading to our appointment to learn the exciting news. We are thankful to have a healthy baby boy due in July! Your continued prayers are much appreciated.”

Duggar family followers are happy about Jill’s news, and they can’t wait to hear more about the baby. But critics on Reddit noticed a funny detail about Jill’s Instagram post announcing the gender. It appears she photoshopped previous photos from the initial pregnancy announcement to change the color of the balloon to blue for the gender announcement.
“I really do enjoy how the Dillards’ sex announcement was just photoshopped pictures from their pregnancy announcement,” a Reddit user noted, posting photos of the original pregnancy announcement next to the gender announcement ones.
“This is actually a smart way to save time and money,” another Reddit user noted.
“I will legit take this any day over ridiculous gender reveals,” another critic wrote.
“It’s just a quick edit that they probably discussed with the photographer as this may have been their plan all along,” another critic added.
How many Duggars had coronavirus? Jill Duggar tested positive during her current pregnancy
Jill Duggar’s gender reveal announcement on the Dillard Family blog also included information on her positive coronavirus (COVID-19) test. “We had originally planned on finding out our baby’s gender earlier, a couple weeks ago, but [coronavirus] hit our family and we had to delay the exciting revelation,” she wrote. “However, this turned out to be a blessing in disguise because by the time we were able to reschedule, Israel was on spring break. This meant our whole family could be together for the appointment, as we all found out together that another little boy would be joining the Dillard tribe!”
So, how many other Duggar family members also had coronavirus? Joy-Anna Duggar also confirmed she dealt with coronavirus during her last pregnancy. The Daily Mail reports Jinger Duggar also dealt with the virus. So far, that’s three confirmed family members total.
