Jim Bob Duggar Is Making Everyone Think Jessa Duggar Is Pregnant
Those who follow the Duggar family know the Counting On crew is all about having children. And Jessa Duggar is no different. While it doesn’t look like any of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s kids are on track to have 19 children, Jessa and her husband, Ben Seewald, already have three little ones of their own. And it seems they may also be open to family expansion.
So, could Jessa be pregnant? Jim Bob’s comment during Ivy Seewald’s first birthday celebration makes it sound like that might be the case.

Jessa and Ben’s three kids often make appearances in Jessa’s YouTube videos and Instagram posts. Spurgeon is 4, Henry is 3, and Ivy just turned a year old. The couple certainly hasn’t made any announcements that suggest they’re ready to have another baby, but it seems family expansion may be on the brain. They spoke to Us Weekly about the possibility of adopting for their fourth child.
“We could wait until all of our kids are grown and gone and then adopt, but I also think it’s kind of cool to have an adopted child growing up with the other kids,” Ben told the publication.
As for what Jessa thinks, she agreed that she’s feeling “baby fever” and is quite open to the possibility of adopting. “We’re not sure if our next baby will be adopted or not, but that’s something that has weighed heavily on our hearts since before we were married,” she noted.

Jessa and Ben’s 1-year-old daughter, Ivy, recently had a birthday celebration. And, of course, all of Jessa’s family was around to celebrate.
Jessa posted a video to her YouTube channel of Ivy getting her own “smash cake” for her big day. Henry and Spurgeon stood beside their little sister as they sang “Happy Birthday,” and once Spurgeon blew out the candle for Ivy, the cake that was initially out of Ivy’s reach was then given to her. It seems the Duggars hoped Ivy would smash into the cake, but the little girl instead touched the frosting delicately.
With all the chatter in the background, it’s clear Ivy has quite the audience for the event. And Jim Bob then comes in with a comment that’s making everyone wonder if Jessa’s expecting. Just as Ivy starts to get into the cake, he jokes, “This will tell us if it’s a boy or a girl.”

So, could Jim Bob’s joke be totally harmless, or is he alluding to something fans don’t yet know about? It seems many Reddit users who saw the clip think Jessa really could be expecting baby no. 4 and has yet to make the announcement.
One Reddit user noted, “all that nonsense JB was babbling during the video about a gender reveal cake made me think that she either is pregnant, or is about to start trying ASAP to keep JB happy, because he obviously thinks it’s time for her to have another one.”
“100% believe that if she’s not currently pregnant, she is desperate to be soon,” another wrote. “Grandduggar #20 is a title too precious to pass up on; there’s definitely a competition to get that attention.”
Aside from Jim Bob’s comment, others thought the timing of the video was strange. The event in the video seemed to take place months prior, but Jessa just posted it all now.
“Maybe she is pregnant and about to announce, posting the video late to drum up attention right before she announces,” another Reddit user guessed.
No matter what the situation is, we’re sure we’ll get the details sooner rather than later.
