He may be shorter than some of the other BTS members, but Jimin is still one of the most powerful K-pop idols in the world, breaking Spotify records with his solo songs. While talking about his song “Friends” with V, his friend commented on how he’s changed since being a teenager. The biggest change? His pinky fingers.

Jimin is one of the singers in BTS

Fans know him from songs like “Serendipity” and “Filter.” Jimin is one of the seven performers in BTS, primarily functioning as a singer in the group. Jimin is also a fun-loving and spirited friend to the other members, though he may be a bit shorter than RM and J-Hope.

According to K-pop Map, Jimin is a little on the short side, coming in at about 173 cm. That makes him the smallest of all the performers in this boy band. Aside from his height, the length of Jimin’s pinky finger is also noticeably smaller than the other members of BTS. (There was no accident or anything. He was just born with adorable pinkies.)

V and Jimin commented on how Jimin changed in the past few years

It’s not that small, but compared to BTS singers like V and Jungkook, Jimin’s pinky looks tiny. The other idols even mention it from time to time, including V, who brought it up during an interview on YouTube. One person asked “in V’s eyes, how is Jimin in his 20s different from his teen years?”

“I think Jimin’s pinky finger grew a bit,” V joked, according to a translation on the YouTube video. “Compared to nine years ago, they were really cute back then. But now they have grown a lot and now Jimin’s cheeks are gone, everyone!”

Even fans noted how small Jimin’s pinky fingers are

It’s somewhat of an inside joke for BTS fans to comment on Jimin’s pinky fingers. It’s all with love, though. Some even took to social media, sharing their love for Jimin’s voice, kind heart, and adorably small fingers.

“My favorite ship dynamic is the shortie with a tiny pinky who wants to be babied and cuddled 24/7 by the tall baritone one with most #1’s on iTunes,” one Twitter user noted of V and Jimin’s collaboration.

“Raise your pinky if you miss Park Jimin’s angelic one of a kind majestic out of this world breath-taking magical pretty ethereal elegant amazing wig-snatching AND beautiful face,” another Twitter user said.

Aside from their duet on “Friends,” both V and Jimin have their own solo songs with BTS. For V, that includes “Singularity” off of Love Yourself: Answer. For Jimin that means “Serendipity” off of Love Yourself: Answer. Music by BTS, including the single “Stay Gold” and Map of the Soul: 7, is available for streaming on platforms like Spotify and Apple Music.
