On Jimin’s Days off From BTS, He Sleeps Until 5 in the Afternoon
The BTS members stay up late watching TV or even chatting with fans on V Live. Even on his days off, Jimin said that he doesn’t wake up until 5 pm because he falls asleep so late. Here’s what we know about the “With You” singer.
BTS’ Jimin is the singer behind ‘Serendipity’ and ‘With You’
Jimin is a singer, dancer, and songwriter for BTS, appearing as a member of the “maknae line.” He’s also the artist behind solo songs “Filter,” “Seredipity,” and “Lie.” Recently, Jimin and HA SUNG WOON teamed up to release “With You,” included in the original television soundtrack for Our Blues.
The track earned over 35 million Spotify plays, with the instrumental version also racking in millions of streams. Recently, the artist discussed his favorite takeout order and his weekend activities.

Jimin is BTS’ “Resident Prince Charming” and an unapologetic night owl. In a Weverse Weekend interview, Jimin answered questions about his daily routine, including his favorite vacation day activities.
“I usually just stay in my room,” Jimin said. “On my days off, I wake up around 5 in the afternoon. When I sleep early, I sleep at around 3 or 4 in the morning, but when I sleep late, I sometimes fall asleep at 7 or 8 in the morning.”
“At night, I just lay on the sofa watching TV,” he continued. “I even spread out a blanket in front of the TV sometimes if I want to keep watching TV. I put my TV in the living room on purpose. Otherwise, I don’t think I would ever come out of my room.”
This wouldn’t be the first time Jimin was honest about his sporadic sleep schedule. During one In The Soop video clip, Jimin turned to another BTS member, saying that he slept until 7:30 pm that day.
Jimin also often mentions binge-watching content on Netflix. In one WIRED interview, RM shared which BTS members were taking English lessons. Although Jimin
BTS’ Jimin runs at night to exercise
Of course, Jimin’s sleep habits could result from his work schedule with BTS. When this artist isn’t performing, writing, or recording music, he’s spending time with fans on V Live or recording an episode of the variety show RUN BTS.
The BTS members recently spent time in Las Vegas, prepping for their Grammy Awards performance and hosting several “Permission to Dance on Stage” concerts. Despite a chaotic work schedule, Jimin (and the other BTS members) often make time for exercise.
“I like pushing my body physically and sweating it out,” Jimin said during an interview with GQ Magazine. “I’m really into running these days. I usually run at night. When I run, taking in the cool breeze and the smell of grass, all my trivial thoughts disappear.”
