Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo Are Still Subtly Promoting One of the Partnerships That Ditched Them
We know the Duggars well thanks to Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar bringing their 19 kids into the spotlight. And now, it’s Jinger Duggar’s time to shine. She and husband Jeremy Vuolo live in Los Angeles with their young daughter, Felicity. And Jinger is the first to move out to the West Coast in an attempt to start her new life in the big city away from everything she knows.
It seems Jinger’s attempting to get into the Instagram influencer life, too — but it may not be going well. Multiple partners have dropped Jinger already after hearing about the Duggars. Oddly enough, Jinger and Jeremy still have a photo of Fonuts on their website even though Fonuts ditched their partnership months ago. Here’s what family critics noticed.
Jinger Duggar is trying her best to become an influencer
The Duggar women don’t traditionally hold down jobs outside of the home, as they believe in abiding by gender roles in which the man is the breadwinner. But they still try their best to bring in some money via social media. And Jinger’s Instagram is very well organized and beautiful to look at, which shows she puts a lot of time into her online presence.
So, why does Jinger spend so much time perfecting her Instagram? It seems she’s trying to delve into the life of an influencer. She’s promoted her partnerships with the donut shop Fonuts, Ruggable, BrushX, and designer Rebecca Minkoff, and that’s just to name a few. And many of her promotions occur on her Instagram Story, as she shares a product she claims to love and follows that up with a discount code her followers can use to get their own for cheap.
Fonuts dropped their partnership with Jinger after hearing more about the Duggars from fans
It doesn’t look like Jinger’s influencer aspirations are working too well for her. Multiple partners have dropped her due to problematic statements the Duggars have made in the past. Jim Bob and Michelle have made it known that they’re Christian fundamentalists and they don’t support same-sex marriage. Not only that, but they also shame women who wear revealing clothing. And they believe that women should please and serve their husbands no matter what.
Because of these well-known Duggar opinions, Fonuts dropped Jinger. And the company even made a statement about it on Instagram. “We apologize for our recent poor choice of promotional partner,” In Touch Weekly notes the founders of the company stated. “We were shocked and dismayed to learn about who we were associating with. We recognize we really made a mistake by not properly researching them.”
Jinger and Jeremy have a photo of Fonuts on their website
Those who follow Jinger and Jeremy closely know they’re no longer associated with Fonuts. But the couple still seems to be subtly promoting the company on their website. There’s a series of photos on the front page — and one of them shows Jeremy excitedly holding a box of Fonuts donuts in front of Jinger and Felicity.
Duggar family critics thought the photo was a strange choice, too.
“This is such an odd pose. Who is he showing the donuts to? Who is he smiling at? Why is Jinger off to the side and not in front looking at the donuts? Is jeremys jaw going to unhinge and eat me whole?” one Reddit user questioned.
“So curious why fonuts terminated,” another noted.
“It looks like he’s offering donuts to someone who was photoshopped out,” another commented.
Despite the Fonuts termination, it seems Jinger and Jeremy don’t mind including the brand on their website. Maybe one day they can repair the relationship, too — but we’re doubtful.
