‘Counting On’: Jinger Duggar’s Recent Instagram Post Proves She’s the Most Progressive Duggar
For a while, Counting On fans have suspected that Jinger Duggar is different from the rest of her extremely religious siblings. While Duggar appears to have a very strong faith, she also seems to live a life that she pleases and doesn’t put such a tight leash on herself the way the rest of her family does. Plus, Duggar recently posted a photo with her little girl, and the caption proved she thinks far differently from the rest of her family.
The Duggars did not participate in sports or attend college
Growing up, the Duggars lived an extremely religious lifestyle. While the women don’t appear to dislike the way they were raised, it’s clear that Duggar has been slowly straying from the pack when it comes to the family’s harsh rules. The children were homeschooled when they were young and never played sports. They only interacted with people they met through church or on religious mission trips. The kids were not allowed to dance or listen to mainstream music, and the daughters were only allowed to wear long skirts so as not to show off any of their curves.
Duggar’s husband, Jeremy Vuolo, is a former soccer player
When Duggar married Jeremy Vuolo in 2016, the two moved to Texas, and Duggar started playing by her own rules. She began wearing pants and tank tops, and the two appeared to distance themselves from the family’s intense rules. Duggar and Vuolo are both very religious (Duggar is a pastor), but the two have only had one child in their nearly-three-year marriage, which is unlike the rest of the family. Duggar’s sister, Jessa Seewald, recently welcomed her third child in five years, and several other Duggar women are pregnant. However, Duggar seems to march to her own beat when it comes to her little family. Vuolo is a former professional soccer player, and though he doesn’t play anymore, he hasn’t forgotten how much he loves the sport.
Duggar recently posted a photo suggesting her daughter could one day play soccer
Duggar and Vuolo recently moved to California with their daughter, Felicity. Duggar has been posting plenty of photos of their move, including those of Felicity interacting with her new environment. But recently, Duggar posted a photo of Felicity wearing a soccer jersey with their last name on it. The caption read, “Maybe one day she will follow in her daddy’s footsteps.” People were shocked to see the caption, considering the Duggar women were never allowed to do things such as play sports. “Yes, please. Be different from the rest of your sisters,” one user wrote. “Girl yes put your baby in sports!!” another user commented. People were in awe that Duggar would give her daughter the opportunity to choose soccer as a career.
Duggar and Vuolo have long been thought of as the most progressive Duggar couple
Ever since Duggar and Vuolo were married, people hoped they would raise their children differently. The two recently moved to Los Angeles, which is a very liberal city, and fans have suggested the move will open their eyes to many types of people. While Duggar and Vuolo are still devout Christians, it’s hard to ignore that they are the most progressive family within the entire Duggar crew.
