Jennifer Garner is known for being married for over a decade to Ben Affleck. She and Affleck stayed friends post-divorce. She moved on with her current boyfriend, John Miller, whom she began seeing in 2018. Unfortunately, several insiders alleged that Miller feels uncomfortable with Garner helping Affleck through his marital woes with Jennifer Lopez. Now that Garner might star in one of Affleck’s future films, Miller might have even worse feelings.

Jennifer Garner’s boyfriend, John Miller, is allegedly ‘questioning’ their relationship amid news of Garner’s next film

John Miller continues to support Jennifer Garner while she helps her ex-husband, Ben Affleck, through his divorce from Jennifer Lopez. Garner has reportedly assisted Affleck through his marital woes. While Miller has no ill feelings toward Affleck, several insiders alleged that Miller wants Affleck and Lopez’s divorce to finish so he and Garner can move on with their lives.

“John has shown incredible patience and that he’s really endeared him to Jennifer,” an insider told Life & Style in September 2024.

The insider added that Miller feels intimidated by how close Garner and Affleck remain post-divorce. He also allegedly thinks about Garner’s old comments about Affleck’s physique and “red-hot connection back in the day.”

“Her comment about the camera crew needing a wide lens for Ben’s naked shower scene in Gone Girl has come back to haunt Jen because it really bugs John to know that,” the insider continued. “But he doesn’t dwell on it; he understands she had a past before him and that there is still a place for Ben in her life.”

The insider added that Affleck is “blowing” Garner up “with random questions” whenever Garner and Miller are together. Additionally, Miller might feel uncomfortable with Garner potentially starring in Affleck’s new film, Animals.

“And now they’re doing this movie together, it’s really got him questioning where he stands,” the source continued.

Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck haven’t worked on a movie together since Daredevil, where they fell in love in 2003. Now, Garner is in talks to star in Animals, a crime thriller about the kidnapping of the son of LA’s mayor. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Affleck would direct the thriller while Matt Damon would star alongside Garner.

Garner hasn’t confirmed that she’ll work with her ex-husband. Perhaps because the Jennifer Lopez debacle has thrown her back into the media, she won’t want to accept the project.

In 2013, Affleck said he didn’t think the world wanted more of him and Garner. “My wife and I made Pearl Harbor and Daredevil,” he said, according to Us Weekly. “With our track record, I don’t know if anyone’s looking for a three-quel.”

A celebrity matchmaker warned that John Miller appears ‘unsupportive’ of his famous girlfriend

John Miller and Jennifer Garner love to stay out of the spotlight. Garner prefers to live a private life away from the media as much as possible, especially because of the frenzy that surrounded her marriage to Ben Affleck. However, celebrity matchmaker Alessandra Conti told Fox News Digital that Miller gives an “unsupportive” energy by not appearing at public events by Garner’s side.

“He hasn’t even posed with her publicly in any of the events that they’ve been to, which, honestly, as a matchmaker and as a matchmaker that works with celebrities, I would say that I’m not a fan of going about a relationship in that way when you’re with an A-lister,” Conti said.

The matchmaker added that even though Miller is “not outwardly displaying not being a supportive partner” to Garner, “I would say that when somebody is so secretive about a relationship, it’s giving nonsupport. It’s giving unsupportive.”
