Jonathan Majors and Meagan Good Appear on Red Carpet 2 Months After Conviction, Relationship Update
Jonathan Majors and his partner Meagan Good made their first joint appearance at a significant red-carpet event since his sentencing in April. Majors, 34, known for his roles in Marvel productions, and Good, 42, were spotted together at the 2024 NAACP Theatre Awards held at the Taglyan Complex in LA on Monday, June 3.
This marked the first major event for both celebrities since Majors’ April 2023 sentencing. The actor was ordered to participate in a year-long “in-person batterers” intervention program. Prior to receiving his sentence, the Loki star was convicted of misdemeanor assault and harassment in connection with a domestic incident involving his former partner, Grace Jabbari.
The reported domestic altercation took place in New York City in March 2023. NYPD reported that officers arrested the then-33-year-old after the victim had injuries to her neck and head. Two months later, on May 13, 2023, paparazzi spotted Majors and Good at Alamo Drafthouse in LA.
Majors has maintained his innocence since his arrest. In the meantime, the couple has carried on. Good supported the Creed III star at many of his court hearings. She often held hands with her boyfriend as they entered and exited NYC’s Manhattan Criminal Court.
Good has faced a lot of criticism for her relationship with Majors given his conviction. However, the Think Like a Man star’s friends have been supportive of her choice, reports People. A source told the publication, “Her divorce was very tough for her to process,” adding that Good “has a really, really good heart.”
Good notably excludes Majors from social media, although she frequently shares photos of their Belgian Malinois on Instagram. The couple reportedly live together in NYC’s Greenwich Village.
Following Majors’ arrest, the Devotion star lost nearly all of his current and upcoming projects. The U.S. Army paused their advertising campagne featuring the star. Majors’ PR firm “parted ways” with him. And Marvel ended their relationship with the actor who played Kang the Conqueror. Majors was set to star in other upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe films, including a fifth Avengers.
