Josh Duggar’s Wife, Anna, Doesn’t Even Get Alone Time With Him on Their Date Nights
We’ve kept up with the Duggar family for years, and it’s Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s oldest son who’s the center of controversy. Josh Duggar’s known for his scandals that came to light in 2015. Reports noted he molested underage girls — a few of whom were his own sisters — in the early 2000s. And it was later discovered that Josh was also on the cheating website, Ashley Madison, while still maintaining a marriage and family with Anna Duggar.
Despite all the bad press, Anna stuck by Josh’s side, as they’ve been married for 11 years. While Josh isn’t on social media, Anna is. And she shares plenty about her family with her followers. In mid-February 2020, she even shared a bit about her date night with Josh — and she mentioned to an Instagram follower that she brings her infant along with her.

We know the Duggars love kids, and Jim Bob and Michelle made it known via reality TV that they don’t believe in birth control. As for Josh and Anna, we’re not sure where they stand today. But they’ve said in the past that they hope to have as many children as God will bless them with. And so far, that’s led to six babies.
Back in November 2019, Anna told her Instagram followers that Maryella Hope was born. “Maryella Hope arrived one day ahead of Thanksgiving Day 2019 and a great reminder to be grateful for all God has done for us!” she captioned her post of the newborn.
Since Maryella was born so close to Thanksgiving, Anna skipped out on a number of family festivities that day. But just five days after giving birth, Anna was back on her feet and at a Duggar family party.
“Little Maryella Hope made her debut (at 5 days old) for her first #familynight with the big family…and she seemed to enjoy it so much!” Anna captioned another post. “Our kiddos had a blast getting dressed up and spending time together with everyone while enjoying good fellowship, food and fun!”
She posted to Instagram about a date night with Josh
Despite having six children and a controversial marriage, Anna is still committed to making things work. And she seems to be posting quite a lot about Josh on her personal Instagram in 2020. On Feb. 17, she posted a photo of her and Josh at the Daytona 500 with Maryella. And on Feb. 19, the busy mom posted another photo of her with Maryella right before she headed out for her date night.
“Maryella and I are ready to head out with Josh for our weekly date night!” she captioned the post. And this led to many questions from her followers.
“How do you fit in date nights?” one follower asked. “We have 5 kiddos ages 10 -7months and date nights are non existent for us. We really want to change that.”
Others seemed excited for Anna to have some fun, and they thought she looked beautiful before she ventured out on her date.

It’s certainly good for Josh and Anna’s marriage for them to go on weekly date nights. But it seems they’re bringing the youngest members of their family along with them.
“How come you don’t go out just the 2 of you?” a follower asked. “Is it because you breastfeed? If so that’s awesome. And awesome if you don’t. And you just like to bring the baby.”
“For me it is much easier to bring a nursing infant along for our date,” Anna commented back. “Once they are weaned or eating solids we will leave them with a babysitter.”
It seems many of Anna’s followers surprisingly do the same thing. While some recommended Anna tries pumping, others backed up her decision and noted she can do whatever she feels is best for her body and children.
We’re glad Anna isn’t letting her infants stop her from getting her date nights in, though it could be awhile before she’s able to go on a date baby-free.
