The Duggar family loves their annual ugly sweater party — and they had one in 2021 despite Josh Duggar’s trial and guilty verdict dampening the mood. The Duggar Family Instagram didn’t create any official posts about the event. But Jana Duggar’s Instagram shared a few highlights from the holiday season, which proved that the family all gathered together.
On Feb. 2, 2022, Jessa Duggar posted a video of the Duggar family ugly sweater party to her YouTube channel.
“What time is it?” Jessa asks her husband, Ben Seewald, at the start of the video.
“Time for the ugly sweater party,” Ben answers while showing off his sweater.
The remainder of the video shows the food and festivities that took place at Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s home. Jessa captured all of the ugly sweaters at the party and panned around the room to show everyone in attendance. She also explained that there are judges at the party to rule who has the ugliest sweater, and they take part in a white elephant gift exchange.

All of the usual suspects at a Duggar family party attended the ugly sweater party. The kids who live with Jim Bob and Michelle were featured often in the video, and most of the Duggar siblings local to their parents also went with their spouses. The video also features Anna Duggar, though Jessa doesn’t linger on her long.
Josh and Anna’s son, Michael Duggar, wins a prize for the “wackiest” outfit. Jessa captures Michael excitedly taking the prize as Anna records the event with her phone. Anna is seen laughing and cheering as Michael accepts the award. She’s also holding another one of her kids.
Prior to this video, some Duggar family followers assumed Anna went to Florida to stay with her side of the family for the holidays. But other eagle-eyed followers on Reddit thought they spotted her kids in other videos. This might’ve been the early giveaway that she was also at the Duggar Christmas events in 2021.

This public appearance of Anna Duggar at a Duggar family event has fans wondering where she stands with Josh Duggar. Are they still married?
As far as followers know, they’re still married and not planning for a divorce. They also reportedly talk with some frequency. According to The Sun, Josh and Anna made over 100 calls to each other primarily in the month of December 2021.
Anna hasn’t publicly spoken out about her husband’s guilty charge yet. It’s unclear if she ever plans to, but given what viewers can see in Jessa Duggar’s video, it’s likely she’ll continue to attend Duggar family events.
