While Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar are responsible for bringing their 19 kids into the spotlight via reality TV, it’s the older Duggar kids who are keeping the family relevant. And we’re all interested in Joy-Anna Duggar’s life with her husband, Austin Forsyth. The happy couple has a young son, Gideon, and they’re currently expecting their next child. Prior to this baby, Joy-Anna went public with her miscarriage, too, which brought a level of candidness to her social media many hadn’t seen before.

Now, Austin has his own social media. And he’s using it to show off his home improvement and house-flipping ventures, as he fixes up homes for a living. Here’s what he posted regarding what he’s currently working on.

Many of the Duggar women choose not to work outside of the home, but Joy-Anna gets involved with her husband’s business ventures. Since the early days of Counting On, Joy-Anna shared how she loves having a hand in Austin’s work.

“House projects are really good for couples to do together,” Joy-Anna explained in a clip from Counting On. And the clip shows Austin helping Joy-Anna learn how to use all the necessary tools.

“If she doesn’t know how to do it, you can just show her real quick and she can figure it out and become better than you at it,” Austin joked.

Now, Austin and Joy-Anna share their latest projects via Instagram. For awhile, the couple was living in a camper, and they kept their followers apprised with how that was going. “First of all, we just started building a new house to sell, not for us to live in, but we did one last year and we did really well and so we’re excited to be starting another one,” Joy-Anna noted in the video.

While Joy-Anna and Austin were focused on their personal projects, they now have a bun in the oven that they’re excited about.

“Yes… it’s true! @austin4site and I are PREGNANT again!” Joy-Anna captioned her post. “Ahhh!!! It’s been quite the crazy journey these last few months, but we are so thankful that mom and baby are healthy! We will give a more detailed update soon, but for now, go to our YouTube channel to find out the GENDER and to watch this journey we’ve been on!”

On March 26, Joy-Anna gave another update on her pregnancy via Instagram. “Nineteen weeks,” she captioned a photo showing off her baby belly in the mirror. And prior to this update, she gave her followers all the information they could ever want with a video on how she found out she was pregnant, how she surprised her family and Austin, and how she’s preparing for the newborn baby girl.

Austin now has his own Instagram, and he included a video with Joy-Anna and Gideon on March 25. “Today we are on the job site. Concrete trucks got a little delayed, so we’re just sitting around and enjoying the really nice weather,” Austin says in his video. He pans over to Joy-Anna, who’s next to Gideon as he plays in a muddy child-sized pool. “We’ll keep ya’ll updated on this house build,” Austin notes as he pans the camera over the area where the new home will go.

Austin also captioned the post with, “Working on a new project. It’s the perfect day to be outdoors with the family!”

Fans loved to see Joy-Anna and Austin getting outside and working together while caring for Gideon amidst Joy-Anna’s pregnancy, too.

“Kiss your wife she’s amazing to be so willing to be out there with you and mothering a little one too,” one follower noted.

“Is this something your building for yourself?! Oh please tell.. love you guys stay safe out there and god bless,” another wrote.

We’re excited to hear more about Joy-Anna’s pregnancy and the details on the new house build as we get them. We’ll be keeping an eye on both Joy-Anna and Austin’s Instagrams!
