Joy-Anna Duggar’s Followers Are Deeply Confused by Her Instagram Post About ‘Slow Mornings’ With Austin Forsyth
The Duggars attained fame thanks to Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar thrusting their 19 kids into the spotlight. And now, it’s their adult kids’ turns to take over.
Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth have their own Instagrams, and many of their fans adore their wholesome marriage and posts about life with their young son, Gideon. Now, Joy-Anna is pregnant once again, too. And she and Austin seem busier than ever parenting, moving forward with their home projects, and maintaining a meaningful social media presence.
We know the couple’s busy, which is part of the reason why followers are confused by Joy-Anna’s post about “slow mornings.” Here’s what her fans are saying.

Raising kids is a full-time job, and we’re all still wondering how Michelle managed to do it with her 19 kids. As for Joy-Anna, she has a 2-year-old son, Gideon, with Austin. And they make parenting look easy, as Gideon seems to be a seriously happy and easygoing child.
Joy-Anna frequently posts photos and videos of her and her son. And she takes parenting seriously. She’s already shared how she’s incorporating religion into her son’s life even though he’s only 2. Back in January, she shared a photo of Gideon to her Instagram that shows he was scribbling on a piece of paper that contained Bible scripture.
Aside from teaching Gideon all about religion, it seems Joy-Anna is also including him in her home-building projects. “Working as a family isn’t always the easiest these days, ‘cause Gideon is in that ‘I want to explore and touch everything’ stage, but it is the best!” she captioned a post from November 2019.

Not only does Joy-Anna have to care for Gideon, but she’s also preparing for another baby.
“Yes… it’s true! @austin4site and I are PREGNANT again!” Joy-Anna posted to Instagram on March 18. “Ahhh!!! It’s been quite the crazy journey these last few months, but we are so thankful that mom and baby are healthy! We will give a more detailed update soon, but for now, go to our YouTube channel to find out the GENDER and to watch this journey we’ve been on!”
Thanks to Joy-Anna’s YouTube channel, she’s also giving her followers all the details there. “We’re due the second week of August,” she told the camera. And she also revealed that she’s having a girl.
Now, she’s giving her Instagram followers even more updates — and she’s also already 25 weeks pregnant. “We’re not deciding on a name until she’s born, but she is already our little princess!” she captioned the post on May 6.
She posted about ‘slow mornings’ to her Instagram
Despite the family business, taking care of Gideon, and preparing for another baby, it looks like Joy-Anna and Austin are still finding ways to unwind. On May 11, she posted a photo of her bible along with her hands clasped with Austin’s. “I love our slow mornings,” she captioned the post.
Many of Joy-Anna’s followers adored the photo, as it shows she takes time for herself, too. But others were confused, as having a “slow morning” with a 2-year-old in the home seems highly unlikely.
“How do you get a slow morning with a toddler in the house!?!?!????” one follower commented.
“How!? With a toddler,” yet another wrote.
To that comment, another suggested, “get up before he does??”
The original commenter wrote back, “at 5am no thank you.”
It looks like Joy-Anna and Austin might just be particularly good at time management. That, or they’re just conveying a peaceful message to their followers during a particularly difficult time. Either way, we’re sure life is about to get a lot busier for them once the new baby arrives!
