Jungkook Is the ‘Golden Maknae,’ but Who Is Considered BTS’ Golden Hyung?’

Why is Jungkook nicknamed the ‘Golden Maknae’ of BTS?
There are seven members in this K-pop group, each of them holding a unique role. One idol can even sing, dance, and paint well. As the youngest member of BTS who is talented at pretty much everything he does, Jungkook earned the nickname the “Golden Maknae” from fans.
One of the rappers in the group earned a few nicknames from fans, as well. That’s J-Hope, real name Jung Hoseok, who is sometimes called Sunshine, “Seokie,” and, on some occasions, the “Golden Hyung.”

He’s your hope and you’re his hope. J-Hope is one of the rappers in BTS, also functioning as a main dancer for the group. He’s fun-loving and outgoing, often showing off his English during interviews overseas.
As a member of the “Hyung Line” and as a talented performer both within and outside of BTS, some ARMYs nicknamed J-Hope the “Golden Hyung.”
“Hobi often [portrays] himself as the kiddo of the Hyung Line,” one Quora user said of the rapper. “The fun-loving and joyful Hyung. Not saying that others [aren’t,] but Hobi is often known for that. J-Hope is BTS’ Golden Hyung.”
Aside from his live performances with this group, J-Hope is also the mastermind behind a number of award-winning BTS songs, earning writing credit for hits like “Trivia: Just Dance” and “Make It Right (feat. Lauv),” according to BTS Fandom.

These performers each have a few projects outside of their work with BTS. For RM, that includes collaborating with Lil Nas X for a remix of “Old Town Road.” For Suga, that includes composing and producing music for other artists.
When it comes to J-Hope, this artist is also known for his solo music. Recently, that includes his collaboration with Becky G for the song, “Chicken Noodle Soup.” In the past, he released a mixtape titled Hope World, earning praise from fans worldwide.
“People don’t really know how I got into music,” J-Hope said of his solo song “Base Line” during an interview with Time Magazine. “These days, the baseline that’s behind my life is my deep gratitude for my life and my work. You can see that too in the lyrics. Everything I am comes from this deep gratitude I have.”
