This artist earned his “Golden Maknae” nickname for a reason. With features on group BTS songs, Jungkook is one of the main vocalists in this award-winning K-pop group. Fans have a few favorite songs featuring this artist, including “Dynamite,” “The Truth Untold,” and “Boy With Luv.”
However, thanks to a few interviews, fans learned which of BTS’ songs are Jungkook’s favorites. That included one group song off of Map of the Soul: Persona, which holds special meaning for some fans.
Jungkook shared 1 BTS song from ‘Map of the Soul: Persona’ is his current favorite song
In conjunction with the album Be (Deluxe Edition,) the BTS members took turns asking each other questions. When it comes to what song Jungkook believes best showcases his voice, the idol turned to one of his solo songs.
“That’d be ‘Euphoria,'” Jungkook replied. “I was lucky to have received the song ‘Euphoria’ but I think my voice at the time was somewhat in between my baby-like voice of the past and my current stable voice.”
During another interview with the Hollywood Reporter, the BTS performers “fished for answers.” When RM read the question, what is currently your favorite song, Jungkook replied with “Mikrokosmos.” That was one of BTS’ releases off of Map of the Soul: Persona and one of the last songs that they performed live for fans on their world tour.
When asked in the same interview what his favorite BTS lyric is, the artist responded with, “don’t let go of the hand you’re holding.” This is one of the lines from Jungkook’s solo song off of Love Yourself: Answer, “Euphoria.”
Jungkook released several solo songs in conjunction with BTS
This “Golden Maknae” is one of the artists featured on “Mikrokosmos.” The group even performed this song during “BTS Week” on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
Although Jungkook has not yet released a solo mixtape, like RM and J-Hope, he does have several solo songs released in conjunction with the K-pop group.
In addition to “Euphoria,” Jungkook is the artist behind songs like “My Time” off of Map of the Soul: 7. He also played a role in directing the music video for “Life Goes On” and writing the lyrics for “Stay,” both off of Be (Deluxe Edition.)
The “Dynamite” music video is now available on YouTube. Music by BTS, including their recently released album, Map of the Soul: 7, is available for streaming on Spotify, Apple Music, and most major platforms.
