Dwayne ‘the Rock’ Johnson and Emily Blunt appear in Disney’s live-action film, ‘Jungle Cruise’

Disney created several films inspired by their theme part attractions. Most recently, that includes the action/adventure flick, titled Jungle Cruise. This film stars Blunt as the fearless explorer Lily Houghton and Johnson as the “Skipper” named Frank Wolff.

Together, these characters traveled to unique tropical locations along the Amazon River in search of an ancient tree with mystical capabilities. That, of course, includes the eighth wonder of the world — the backside of water! Disney originally slated this movie for a 2020 release date. However, the company postponed it to the summer of 2021.

Who has a higher net worth — Dwayne ‘the Rock’ Johnson or Emily Blunt?

As a former professional wrestler, Johnson earned income from multiple sources. He also acts as a producer and as an actor for several films. That includes Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw, Jumanji: The Next Level, and Race to Witch Mountain.

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Johnson has an estimated net worth of $400 Million. This is due to his work acting, wrestling, and producing, as well as his income from his company with his now-ex-wife, Dany Garcia, called Seven Bucks Productions. He also owns a 46-acre equestrian estate in Powder Springs, Georgia.

That means this celebrity has a higher net worth than his Jungle Cruise co-star. According to Celebrity Net Worth, Blunt’s net worth is an estimated $80 million. That’s a combined net worth, including the income of her partner, actor, film director, and writer John Krasinski.

Outside of Jungle Cruise, Blunt acted in the A Quiet Place franchise, The Devil Wears Prada, Edge of Tomorrow, and Salmon Fishing in the Yemen. According to IMDb, she was a producer for The English and a “creative consultant” for Your Sister’s Sister.

Both actors appeared in other award-winning Disney films

Aside from their stardom in Jungle Cruise, Blunt and Johnson worked with Disney separately. Johnson voiced the shapeshifter, demi-god, and hero to all named Maui, even performing the song “You’re Welcome” as the character.

Blunt portrayed the title character in Mary Poppins Returns, the sequel to Disney’s iconic Mary Poppins film. In this production, she performed songs like the Academy Award-nominated song in the Best Music (Original Song) category, “The Place Where Lost Things Go.”

Disney’s Jungle Cruise premieres in theaters and Disney+ (with premier access) on July 30, 2021. Until then, other Disney movies starring these actors, including Mary Poppins Returns and The Game Plan, are available to all subscribers on Disney’s streaming platform.
