Juno Temple Turns Heads in Bold Bondage-Inspired Dress at ‘Venom: The Last Dance’ Premiere Alongside ‘Ted Lasso’ Star Hannah Waddingham
Tom Hardy leveled up his A-list status when he became Venom in 2018. Since then, the Venom franchise has elevated the careers of many talented actors, including Juno Temple, who joined for the third and final installment of the beloved Marvel series. The 35-year-old stepped out in London with Ted Lasso costar Hannah Waddingham to celebrate the premiere of Venom: The Last Dance. See Temple’s wild outfit and learn about her role here.
Juno Temple has continued to shine with her versatile acting roles over the last year. The English actor gained widespread recognition in Ted Lasso. Her role as Keeley Jones earned her critical acclaim and solidified her as a standout in the comedy-drama world, forever tying her with close friend and fellow Brit, Hannah Waddingham. In 2024, Temple also took on a darker, more intense role in Fargo and explored the world of fantasy in The Offer. Most recently, the Atonement actor has taken on a key role in Venom: The Last Dance. She’s stepped into the blockbuster realm with a bold new character and even bolder outfits.
Temple stepped out for the UK premiere of Venom: The Last Dance in one of her wildest looks yet. The Notes on a Scandal actor donned a black floor-length gown — quite traditional if it weren’t for the large cutout across her chest and stomach. The revealing dress featured several straps attached to rings down her middle, ending in a low-rise cut between her hips. Temple is no stranger to out-there outfits. She often wears over-the-top feminine sweaters, skin-tight dresses, and towering heels that suit her 5-foot-2 frame.
For this look, Temple added two diamond statement rings, a gemstone-encrusted bracelet, and a smiley-face clutch covered in crystals.
In Venom: The Last Dance, Temple portrays Dr. Teddy Payne/Agony. The scientist, paralyzed in one arm, is tracking Eddie and Venom and later becomes the host of a purple-colored symbiote. Temple did not appear in the earlier Venom films by Marvel. First, the cinematic universe’s introduction of Venom into its film canon brought one of Spider-Man’s most iconic antiheroes to the forefront of superhero cinema.
Venom made his film debut in the 2018 Venom, starring Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock. The down-on-his-luck journalist bonds with an alien symbiote to become a fearsome and morally ambiguous character. Fans of the series appreciate how Eddie struggles to balance his humanity with Venom’s violent instincts. Venom became a box-office success despite mixed reviews, prompting a sequel. In 2021’s Venom: Let There Be Carnage, Eddie faces off against Carnage, another symbiote-bonded enemy.
The Venom series explores themes of identity, power, and the humorous relationship between Eddie and Venom, blending action and dark comedy à la Deadpool. Juno Temple added a fresh dynamic when she joined the franchise for its latest installment. Her involvement marks her entry into the superhero genre, building on her recent successes. With Temple on board, Venom: The Last Dance promises to elevate the story with her unique presence and acting depth
