Justin Bieber Told Hailey Baldwin He Couldn’t Be Faithful to Her
Although their speedy marriage was initially a shock to everyone, Justin Bieber and Hailey Bieber have seemingly found their stride as a married couple. After tying the knot in a New York courthouse in September 2018, the duo celebrated their one-year anniversary with a formal ceremony in front of family and friends at Montage Palmetto Bluff in Bluffton, South Carolina in September 2019.
Justin and Hailey often showcase their love and respect for one another on their social media pages, and Hailey often appears in Justin’s YouTube docuseries, Changes, where they’ve been very candid about their relationship.
In fact, Justin revealed that when he first reconnected with Hailey in 2018, he told her he couldn’t be faithful to her.
Justin and Hailey Bieber have an intense marriage
Although Justin dated Selena Gomez on and off for seven years, he did briefly date Hailey. Apparently, the duo made quite the impression on one another, and the supermodel refers to her husband as her first love. Therefore, when they reconnected in 2018, they walked down the aisle after just two months of dating.
Many people assumed it was going to be a quickie Hollywood marriage, but the two appear to be in it for the long haul. In fact, their September 2019 wedding solidified their bond.
An insider told US Weekly, “It made their marriage feel more ‘real’ and ‘official’ to them. They kept the wedding small because Justin didn’t want any ‘fake friends’ there.”
Justin told Hailey he couldn’t be faithful
When the pair reconnected, Justin had once again ended things with Gomez, and he was not in a good place for a relationship. “I said, ‘Listen, I’m still really hurt and still trying to figure out my way, and I’m not ready to make a commitment to you in a way that… I just don’t want to say something and do the opposite,’” he said in an Apple Music interview.
The Yummy singer was not yet over his previous relationship and the missteps he’d made. “I was at the point where I’d done that in the past, and I just was like honest with her,” he said. “I was like, ‘I’m not in a place to be faithful and all this sort of stuff that I wanted to be, but I just wasn’t there yet.’”
This is how Justin Bieber is making sure he never cheats on his wife
Despite his warning, all signs point to Justin remaining true to his wife. He’s even been open about the tools he uses to better their marriage.
In a recent Instagram post, the singer shared a book that he looks to for guidance: His Needs, Her Needs: Building An Affair-Proof Marriage by Willard Hartley. According to Amazon, the Christian-based self-help book helps partners identify the 10 essentials in a marriage. They include admiration, affection, an attractive spouse, conversation, domestic support, family commitment, financial support, honesty and openness, recreational companionship, and sexual fulfillment.
