Since late December, the married couple of six years has been very active online, posting cryptic song lyrics and photos seemingly in response to each other’s stories. Fan speculation ran rampant as many wondered if there was trouble in paradise. With baby Jack Blues Bieber only four months old, supporters hoped their marriage hadn’t gone off the rails.

On December 28, Justin Bieber posted an Instagram story of his face silhouetted against a blue screen. He included lyrics to the song, “Bed” by Jacquees, selecting the section, “I know you wanted love, but I just want to f***.” TikTok user @sloanhooks broke down the drama, explaining in a TikTok video that Hailey Bieber posted an Instagram story 20 minutes after Justin’s story. In it, she shared the lyrics to SZA’s new song “30 For 30” featuring Kendrick Lamar. Specifically, she included the section, “If it’s f*** me, then it’s f*** you.”
Hailey also shared pics from Anguilla, as the Rhode founder spent the time between Christmas and New Year’s Eve away from Justin. She included photos of model Lori Harvey and singer/actor Justine Skye applying Rhode’s viral lip products. Justin responded on his Instagram stories with a video featuring the caption, “Coparenting is failing….like tf.” Hailey then posted a screenshot of another SZA song called “What Do I Do.”
The same day, Justin’s father, Jeremy Bieber, cryptically tweeted, “I have never known a parent that said ‘I wish I didn’t have a child.'” The timing of this tweet — during the holidays while Hailey is absent from parenting Jack with her husband — seemed intentional. Fans wondered if Justin and Hailey were experiencing a major marital dispute. But the pair spent New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day shutting down the rumors.

First, Hailey reposted a TikTok video from @eyegotthyme that featured the audio, “You’re not well, and it’s okay.” She added a caption, “[M]e to all of you on the internet.” Then, on January 1, Justin shared a steamy photo of Hailey on his Instagram stories. It showed the model standing on a staircase wearing a pink and white bikini and leopard print coat. She posed with a “Happy New Year” hat atop her slicked-back bun, donning Ugg-style slippers and her iconic diamond “B” bubble necklace. Justin captioned the pic, “Um. Going anywhere with u bb.”
Hailey also shared a behind-the-scenes look at her New Year’s Eve celebration. The 28-year-old posted an Instagram carousel of herself posing in the same faux fur coat and hat with the caption, “[W]ake up, it’s 2025!” She included pics of an NYE party where she enjoyed a dirty martini and an In-N-Out burger topped with caviar. Clearly, she and Justin rang in the New Year together. But followers commented on the photos saying, “I was expecting a 2025 family picture,” “Where is Justin????,” and “Money and Loneliness…”
