Federal agents arrested hip-hop giant Sean “Diddy” Combs in September 2024 on charges of racketeering, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution. Combs pleaded not guilty to the charges and remains in jail until his scheduled trial date in May 2024. In recent weeks, resurfaced clips of Justin Bieber and Combs have hit the media. Here’s what a source said regarding how those around Bieber are “generally worried about him” amid Combs’ arrest.

Justin Bieber has people close to him ‘generally worried’ after Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs arrest, a source says

Justin Bieber hasn’t formally been named in the Sean “Diddy” Combs case. However, old clips of Combs hanging out with a young Bieber continue to circulate in the media. A viral clip shows 15-year-old Bieber hanging out with Combs at Combs’ home. Combs explains in the clip that he and Bieber spent 48 hours together, and they couldn’t fully disclose what they were up to.

In 2011, another clip shows Bieber and Combs on Jimmy Kimmel Live! talking about their friendship. Again, Combs referenced their 48 hours together.

“[Justin] had the Lambo for a day or two, and he had access to the house, and he knows better than to be talking about the things that he does with Big Brother Puff on national television,” Combs said.

A source told In Touch Weekly that Bieber has “shut himself off from the world” in the wake of Combs’ arrest.

“No one knows what’s going on with Justin,” a member of Bieber’s inner circle told the publication. “It’s like he’s fallen off the map since Diddy’s arrest and all the sick details coming out. People are genuinely worried about him.” The insider added that dealing with the news and “being a new dad probably has him stressed as hell.”

Another source alleged that Justin Bieber doesn’t want to ‘relive or even discuss’ his time with the hip-hop mogul

Justin Bieber is unlikely to publicly comment on the Sean “Diddy” Combs case. A source told In Touch Weekly that the star doesn’t want to “relive or even discuss” the past. However, he might be opening up to those close to him.

“The last thing Justin wants to do is relive or even discuss his complicated friendship with Diddy,” the insider said. “But he’s finally breaking his silence to his friends about his nightmare experience and the private hell it’s caused him.”

The insider added that Bieber has “tried to be upfront about his demons and how he’s relied on therapy and his faith” to get him through his difficult past with the music industry. Now, he’s choosing to focus on his wife, Hailey Bieber, and their 1-month-old son.

Attorney Tony Buzbee says celebrities will get publicly named in the Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs case

Those following Sean “Diddy” Combs’ court case are eager to hear the other celebrities named in the case. Combs was known for his legendary parties containing A-listers for a decade. Photos and videos of his parties show Hollywood and political elites in attendance.

Attorney Tony Buzbee told TMZ Live plans to file lawsuits against those in connection with Combs’ case in early October 2024. “They, of course, will include Mr. Combs and some corporate entities,” Buzbee said. “But, we want to make sure that if we name individuals beyond Mr. Combs, that we make sure that we’ve done our homework, because it’s going to create a firestorm. We understand that. We’re going to make sure that we dot our I’s and cross our T’s.”

He also noted that he plans to “aggressively” go after celebrities who saw Combs’ wrongdoings and allowed them to continue.
