Kaitlyn Bristowe Feels ‘Bitter’ Toward One Bachelor Nation Member
Kaitlyn Bristowe, former contestant on “The Bachelor” and star of “The Bachelorette,” has a few words to say about her experience on the shows. Here’s what Bristowe shared on her social media account about “bitter” feelings she has toward a member of Bachelor Nation.
Kaitlyn Bristowe questions watching every season of ‘The Bachelor’
Years later, Bristowe still has difficulty processing her experience on the show. She took to Instagram to vent about her reality TV experience. “I always question watching every season due to a little PTSD, overwhelming emotions, and knowing a little too much,” wrote Bristowe. “But I just always want to support the people going through this ‘journey.’ So, while I have bitter feelings towards one person (not a contestant), out of hundreds, I will choose to love the hundreds of others who changed my life.”
It’s possible Bristowe is referring to Mike Fleiss, creator of “The Bachelor” franchise. Last October, she expressed her anger with Fleiss for allegedly not allowing her to participate in “Dancing with the Stars.” She told the host of “The Talkhouse” podcast that Fleiss “hates” women.
Kaitlyn Bristowe wished Peter Weber good luck
Although Bristowe still has unpleasant feelings about her time on “The Bachelor,” she still took a moment to wish Weber good luck on Instagram. “Good luck, @pilot_pete we are all rooting for you. Unless you break my friend’s heart. She’s on your season. Then you will have me to deal with (just kidding),” posted Bristowe.
What happened during Kaitlyn Bristowe’s season of ‘The Bachelor’
Bristowe was first introduced to Bachelor Nation during season 19 of “The Bachelor.” After that appearance, she moved on to season 11 of “The Bachelorette.” Bristowe had a complicated relationship with former “The Bachelor” star Nick Viall. He spoke about their relationship during his podcast, “The Viall Files.”
After being asked by guest co-host Ashley Hinshaw which one of his breakups was tougher, his split with Bristowe or Andi Dorfmann, Viall said his breakup with Bristowe was personal, reports “People” magazine. “They were very different,” said Viall. “The one that was more personal was Kaitlyn. … It was more personal because of the relationship before and all the things that happened leading up to it.”
At first, Bristowe had a positive outcome. At the end of the season in July 2015, she and Shawn Booth were engaged. However, the couple decided to end their relationship after three years and went their separate ways in November 2018.
Kaitlyn Bristowe asked fans not to bully ‘The Bachelor’ contestants
Bristowe also sent a message to fans of “The Bachelor” who might be tempted to bully the show’s contestants. She asked fans to be kind and remember that the contestants are people, too. Here’s what Bristowe wrote:
I will try to remember the positive experiences. Let’s please all try really hard to not hate, or bully contestants this year. Try to remind yourself they are humans, not characters. Words hurt and you never know how you would be in these kinds of situations. A little chirping and teasing is fun, questioning people’s behavior is fine. Hate is not.
The reality star ended her post on a lighthearted note, addressing the fact that she looks different from the promotional photo she posted on her Instagram account. “Please don’t rip me apart for looking different. I’ve aged five years, changed my teeth, have had Botox, and dyed my hair blonde. Of freaking course I look different. K let’s gooooooooo.”
