Kaley Cuoco is an ‘Avid, Die-Hard’ Fan of ‘The Bachelor’
After decades in Hollywood, working steadily on famous sitcoms, Kaley Cuoco delivered her career-best performance in The Flight Attendant. The HBO Max series has pushed Cuoco into a new phase of her career. And while her success in Hollywood makes for a busy schedule, she sets aside time for her favorite TV series, The Bachelor.
Kaley Cuoco received an Emmy nomination for ‘The Flight Attendant’
Cuoco had her breakout role on The Big Bang Theory, where she starred as Penny for twelve seasons. Soon after the series finale, Cuoco got to work on The Flight Attendant. She optioned the series and is the star and executive producer.
Based on a Chris Bohjalian book of the same title, The Flight Attendant follows Cassie, a flight attendant with alcoholism. After a blurry night with a passenger, she wakes up to find him next to her in bed, covered in blood. Over the course of the series, she attempts to comprehend his murder and absolve herself.
For her stellar, darkly comedic performance, Cuoco received her first Emmy nomination for Lead Actress in a Comedy Series.
Cuoco is a longtime fan of ‘The Bachelor’
In an interview with W Magazine, Cuoco confessed her long-time love affair with The Bachelor franchise.
“I’ve been an avid, die-hard, devoted Bachelor slash Bachelorette slash Bachelor in Paradise fan for as long as I can remember. I go deep into Bachelor in Paradise,” she said, adding that her all-time favorite contestant is Kaitlyn Bristowe.
“I liked that she had an edge. She cussed, she had sex. I just found her to be like a girl’s girl,” Cuoco said of the season 11 Bachelorette.
The series, which first aired in 2022, has spawned multiple spinoffs, including The Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise. It has also spread internationally, with iterations in Canada, Australia, Romania, and Vietnam, among others.
In particular, Cuoco enjoys Bachelor in Paradise. This spinoff places eliminated contestants from The Bachelor and The Bachelorette on a beach, where they then get a second shot at love. Viewers get a second chance to see their favorite contestants date, fight, and cry on-camera.
“I’m mad that Bachelor in Paradise has not turned into a Big Brother situation, where you can just watch them 24 hours a day. That’s what I think they should do,” Cuoco said.
