While the couple seems to enjoy traveling and living a lavish lifestyle, sources note that Censori would love to settle down and have a place for her and West to call home. The couple recently borrowed $15.5 million to buy a $35 million mansion in Beverly Hills.
A source told DailyMail.com that West and Censori bought the 11-bedroom, 18-bathroom property as a “last ditch effort” to save their marriage. “Bianca has wanted stability for well over a year now,” the source alleged. “This house was a last-ditch effort to save their marriage because Kanye knows what she wants, which is a family and to be grounded.”
While it was originally reported that the couple bought the Beverly Hills home as a rental, it seems they purchased it with the intent to build a life.
“Bianca is sick of hopping from hotel to hotel and from city to city,” the source continued. “She has been doing this their entire marriage. She’s not had any stability since she married Kanye, and with the lawsuit, she is stressed.”
The couple reportedly used high-risk mortgage lenders to buy the mansion
Kanye West borrowed over $15 million to buy the $35 million Beverly Hills mansion, with the heftiest loan amount being $12.5 million with Lone Oak Fund. West fronted $19.5 million of his own cash to buy the home. The mogul likely accrued the cash after selling his rotting Malibu home, which he sold for $21 million.
“He just sold a $57 million property for $21 million — what happened was, he took the $21 million to buy this property,” RGGL co-owner Richard Glassman told DailyMail.com. RGGL LLC gave West a near-$3 million mortgage for the house. “So, we financed the difference. He didn’t want to use his cash; it’s not like he lives in this property. I mean, the guy’s got tons of properties. I guess properties to him are like you and I would have a car, or a watch, or a pair of pants.”
The publication initially reported that West and Censori planned to use the property as a rental. However, it appears they might want to live there full-time.
Kanye West’s lifestyle ‘took a toll’ on Bianca Censori, a source says
In October 2024, a source told Us Weekly that Kanye West and Bianca Censori had a “rocky” marriage.
“They are working through it,” the insider explained. “Their relationship is definitely rocky. Bianca knew what she was getting herself into when marrying Kanye, but, as months went on, the lifestyle took a toll on her.”
The source added that Censori allegedly felt “sick of traveling” with West. West also had “high expectations for her and their marriage,” putting additional strain on the union. “She had a change of heart and voiced that to him recently,” the insider continued. “It was not well-received by Kanye, but they are working through it. They are OK right now, and there are no plans for divorce at this time.”
