Censori was covered in a pink fur coat — a severe departure from her typical nearly nude looks. West wore a black hoodie. They both had their heads propped in their hands with their elbows leaning on the table and didn’t appear to speak to each other.

The photos came after another report that suggested Censori and West are taking a break from their marriage. Censori’s family allegedly disapproves of West, and West hopes to focus on his music.

“Her family has never been a fan of Ye, and those close to her have questioned whether marrying him was the right decision,” a source told The U.S. Sun in November 2024. “Kanye said they’ve been taking a breather since mid-October, and his only focus right now is the music. Censori allegedly wants to spend more time in Los Angeles and travel less, as their jet-setting lifestyle is causing problems. The insider added that she voiced her concerns to West, but it didn’t go well. Regardless, they hoped to work through their issues and stay together.

“There are no plans for divorce at this time,” the source alleged.

Why is the rapper in Tokyo?

Kanye West and Bianca Censori haven’t discussed how long they plan on staying in Tokyo. However, it seems Censori may leave before West. Music journalist Touré said West is living in the Japanese city to work on his album, Bully, according to DailyMail.com.

“When he’s in Japan, people see him, but they’re very quiet,” an insider noted. “They’re very respectful. Very seldom will they even come up and ask for a picture. So he can move around Japan with no security.”

A friend of West’s noted that the rapper has a “different level of peace of mind” while in Japan, allowing for his creativity to flow. “Because your mind is at ease. Your mind is at rest. You’re not paranoid about anything,” they said.
