Kanye West Is Still Dating Model Vinetria Despite Attempts to Reconcile With Kim Kardashian West
Kanye West has made it very clear that he wants to get back with Kim Kardashian West. But the rapper is still dating mononymous model Vinetria, even as he tries to win his ex back. Here are all the details we know about West and Vinetria’s relationship and what West and the reality star have said about reconciling.
Kanye West is dating 22-year-old model Vinetria amid divorce from Kim Kardasnian West
After seven years of marriage, Kim Kardashian West filed for divorce from Kanye West in February. Since their split, the reality star has been dating Saturday Night Live actor Pete Davidson, while West has been romantically linked to model Irina Shayk.
More recently, West has reportedly been dating 22-year-old model Vinetria “for a while now,” according to Daily Mail. They seemingly went public as a couple on Nov. 6, when they sat together courtside at the debut basketball game for West’s Donda Academy in Minneapolis. Vinetria posted a video of West performing during the game to her Instagram Stories.
The model also shared videos on social media of West’s Sunday Service on Oct. 31, just a few days after Kardashian West was spotted holding hands with Davidson.
Kanye West has made several public attempts to reconcile with Kim Kardashian West
On Dec. 9, West performed a concert with Drake to help free Larry Hoover, who is currently serving a life sentence in prison. West addressed Kardashian West directly during his song “Runaway.”
“Baby, I need you to run right back to me … more specifically, Kimberly,” West said.
And on the Nov. 4 episode of Revolt TV’s Drink Champs, West referred to Kardashian West as his wife, even though they are getting divorced. “My wife – because she’s still my wife – ain’t no paperwork,” he said (via E! News)
“That ain’t no joke to me,” West continued. “My kids want their parents to stay together. I want us to be together.”
During a Nov. 24 visit to Skid Row, the rapper claimed that God will reunite him with the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star and inspire millions of families.
“If the enemy can separate Kimye, there’s going to be millions of families that feel like that separation is OK,” said West. “[But] when God … brings Kimye together, there’s going to be millions of families that are going to be influenced and see that they can overcome the work of the separation, of trauma of the devil that’s used to capitalize and keep people in misery while people step over homeless people to go to the Gucci store.”
Vinetria is a ‘great distraction’ for the rapper
An inside source told E! News that West sees nothing wrong with dating Vinetria while making public claims that he wants Kardashian West back. “Kanye is still hanging out and seeing model Vinetria, despite also trying to win Kim back,” the source revealed. “Kanye likes Vinetria’s company and has continued to bring her around his friend group. She has stayed in his house several times in the last month and has been invited to social functions with him.”
The insider added, “They aren’t exclusively dating, but are casually hanging out.” The course also called Vinetria “a great distraction for Kanye.”
But Kardashian West has no plans to get back together with her rapper ex, according to court documents obtained by E! News.
“Irreconcilable differences have led to the irremediable breakdown of the marriage, and there is no possibility of saving the marriage through counseling or other means,” said the documents. “The continued maintenance of technical marital status between [Kim] and [Ye] serves no useful purpose, and there is no reason to maintain the legal relationship.”
