Kanye West Likely to Have Trouble Booking Super Bowl Ads Next Year, Attorney Says
Kanye “Ye” West is under fire for promoting his brand, Yeezy, with an ad that ran during Super Bowl LIX. While the advertisement wasn’t controversial, the Yeezy website showed one item for sale — a shirt with a swastika symbol — shortly after the big game. Here’s what an attorney said about West likely having trouble booking Super Bowl ads in the future due to the stunt.
An attorney predicts Kanye ‘Ye’ West having issues booking Super Bowl ads in the future
The media has closely followed Kanye “Ye” West’s antics through early 2025. The rapper and his wife, Bianca Censori, made headlines for the Grammy Awards stunt they pulled. Censori dropped her coat on the red carpet to reveal her naked body beneath a Yeezy “invisible dress.”
After the Grammys, West aired an advertisement for Yeezy during Super Bowl LIX. The commercial showed him seated in a dentist’s chair. “So what’s up, guys, I spent, like, all the money for the commercial on these new teeth,” he says in the commercial. “So, once again, I had to shoot it on the iPhone.” He then tells viewers to head to Yeezy.com.
West was slammed for his inventory on the website. For a short time, he was selling white T-shirts with black swastikas as the only item. Additionally, West took to X to rant about how he identifies as a Nazi.
Attorney Camron Downlatshahi of MSD Lawyers told The U.S. Sun that West is unlikely to face legal repercussions for the Yeezy ad. “If Ye wanted to sell a product, and those who reviewed the ad saw uncontroversial athletic clothing on his site, there doesn’t seem to be a specific reason to pull this particular ad, because it’s reasonable to assume that his ad was going to be exactly what was initially presented on its face,” Downlatshahi explained. “His past offhand remarks, no matter how unhinged, aren’t necessarily a reason to pull an ad that contained nothing questionable — at least in the original version.”
While West likely won’t face “legal blowback” for the ad, he might have trouble booking ads during future Super Bowls. “If Ye tries to buy another Superbowl ad next year, however, networks will not be able to reasonably say they had no inkling that things could go sideways,” the attorney continued. “They would be wise to be on guard in any dealings with Ye from now on.”
An insider says that Bianca Censori has had enough of the ‘Hitler and Nazi rants’

After the blowback from Kanye West’s Yeezy site, several sources claimed Bianca Censori was ready to file for divorce. West and Censori’s representative, Milo Yiannopolous, denied the rumors, claiming the couple was preparing for their Valentine’s Day celebration.
While the couple seemingly remains together for now, an additional source told The U.S. Sun that West and Censori frequently have their ups and downs. And Censori is having trouble dealing with West’s antisemitism.
“Back in 2022 after his first antisemitic rant he posted a song days later called ‘Censori Overload,'” the source explained. “In it, there was a line saying ‘wakin’ up to I can’t do this anymore texts.’ They have been very up and down from the beginning. Bianca has put up with a lot, but the Hitler and Nazi rants are often too much for her.”
A lawyer who worked with Kanye West said West faced ‘hardship’ due to ‘exceedingly negative media coverage’
Kanye West’s Yeezy ad and website didn’t do him any favors with the public. And he’s currently facing several unrelated legal battles. In Touch Weekly reports Manoj Shah, a lawyer who claimed to work with West, said West “faced extreme hardship and difficulty retaining litigation counsel, due to exceedingly negative media coverage of Defendants.”
Tony Saxon, West’s ex-employee suing him, did not have mercy. “Ye is the reason for his negative media coverage,” Tony said.
