Kanye West May Lose $20 Million Deal in Japan Due to Bianca Censori’s Nude Grammy Outfit
Kanye West and Bianca Censori turned heads at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards in February 2025. Censori arrived in a black fur coat, which she then removed to reveal a sheer dress that showed her completely nude beneath the fabric. West and Censori left the event soon after the red carpet, but the stunt may cost West a $20 million deal in Japan.
Kanye West might lose a $20 million deal in Japan due to his and Bianca Censori’s Grammy stunt
Kanye West and Bianca Censori’s controversial entrance to the Grammy Awards might have cost West serious cash. Before returning to the States, the couple lived abroad in Tokyo. West signed a contract to perform two shows at the Tokyo Dome in May 2025. However, Censori heading to the Grammys in a completely nude outfit may have jeopardized West’s contract.
“Kanye is just f***ing up every opportunity that comes to him,” an insider told DailyMail.com. “The stunt was creepy beyond belief and has been greeted with horror in Japan. Japan is having a cultural awakening about women’s rights, and the #MeToo movement is really strong here. What he did is being seen as an act of coercive control, which is utterly unacceptable. He has completely culturally misjudged Japan.”
Another source told the publication that the investors backing the concerts feel “extremely upset” and will likely remove West’s funding for the shows.
“He’s just not welcome anymore,” they noted of Japan. “This will be a big blow for him because he has been living in Japan for around a year now, almost full-time, and I guess he did not see this coming.”
