Kanye West Has Lost Money Since Marrying Bianca Censori, Source Says
Kanye “Ye” West and Bianca Censori have been under the media’s microscope since their red-carpet stunt at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards. Rumors swirled that the couple was headed for divorce following the awards show and West’s antisemitic rants online. However, the couple’s representative squashed the rumor. Here’s what an insider said about West losing money since marrying Censori, which could factor into a possible future divorce battle.
Kanye ‘Ye’ West has reportedly lost money since marrying Bianca Censori
Kanye West and Bianca Censori retain their status as one of the most mysterious couples in the public eye. The lovers tied the knot at the end of 2022, just months after West and Kim Kardashian finalized their divorce. Censori typically makes headlines due to her flashy, risqué outfits, and she wore her most daring look yet with Yeezy’s “invisible dress” on the Grammys red carpet. While the couple sparked divorce rumors after their stunt, their representative verified that they remain together.
West took to X to say he has “dominion” over Censori, which sparked outrage from his followers. “She’s with a billionaire,” he tweeted in all caps, “why would she listen to any of you dumb a** broke b****es.”
While West claims to have billionaire status, his actual net worth remains somewhat of a mystery. Sources told TMZ that West has lost money since tying the knot with Censori. And he lost additional funds after his antisemitic tweets went viral.
West spoke to his friend, Justin Laboy, on The Download podcast about the money loss. Laboy recounted how he was out to lunch with West when West’s accounts were frozen. “
“I remember when they froze your accounts,” Laboy said. “Man, I remember I had to put my little American Express down. That was the first time I saw a billionaire have no access to money.”
“It was crazy. It was like some Black Mirror episode,” West noted. “They wanted to do everything to prove to me that I didn’t have the right to say anything out loud that went against the people who own the media and the people who own the music industry — the people that Drake is going up against right now, ironically.”
The couple’s $35 million Beverly Hills estate had piles of trash on the property

Kanye West and Bianca Censori bought a $35 million estate in Beverly Hills toward the end of 2024. At the time, sources said the couple bought the property as a “last-ditch effort” to “save” their failing marriage.
“Bianca has wanted stability for well over a year now,” a source told DailyMail.com. “This house was a last-ditch effort to save their marriage because Kanye knows what she wants, which is a family and to be grounded. … Bianca is sick of hopping from hotel to hotel and from city to city. She has been doing this their entire marriage.”
While the couple may have wanted this estate, photos shared by The U.S. Sun show piles of black trash bags and broken wood tossed on the property’s patio. Some of the trash bags appear busted open with their contents spilling out.
Kanye West’s investors might pull out of a $20 million deal in Tokyo
Kanye West and Bianca Censori’s behavior might’ve caused his investors to pull out of a multimillion-dollar deal. West signed on to perform two shows at the Tokyo Dome in May. However, a source told DailyMail.com that West “has completely culturally misjudged Japan” with his Grammy stunt.
“The investors in Japan who are backing the concerts are extremely upset by this,” the insider revealed. “It is highly likely that they will pull the funding for the shows.”
The insider added that West is “just not welcome anymore. This will be a big blow for him because he has been living in Japan for around a year now, almost full-time, and I guess he did not see this coming.”
