Kanye West Made Kim Kardashian Cry by Raiding Her Closet and Throwing Out Her Clothes
Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West are about to file for divorce. Although the couple was genuinely in love at one point, their marriage ultimately blew up in flames. While there are several reasons why the couple is parting ways, fans speculate that one of the reasons has to do with West’s controlling nature.
In a controversial episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, the rapper came to the reality star’s home and raided her closet. He threw nearly all her clothes in the trash, which made Kardashian-West cry.
How did Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West fall in love?
For a long time, Kardashian West and her rapper husband were just friends. Both dated other people, yet West always knew he wanted to end up with the beautiful star. “I just knew I wanted her to be my girl for a long time,” he told Ryan Secrest in 2013.
“I remember I saw a picture of her and Paris Hilton, and I remember telling my boy, ‘Have you seen that girl Kim Kardijon?'” (At the time, West didn’t even know how to pronounce her name because she wasn’t in the spotlight yet.)
And as time passed, West would start to write songs about her, calling Kardashian-west “the cheerleader of my dreams.”
In “Knock you Down,” he rapped,
“You were always the cheerleader of my dreams / Seem to only date the head of football teams/ And I was the class clown that always kept you laughing / We were never meant to be, baby we just happened,” Kanye sang, later adding, “You should leave your boyfriend now.”
When the song was released, the raven-haired beauty was in a relationship with Reggie Bush (the NFL champion.)
Later, he claimed in a rap verse, “I’ll admit, I had fell in love with Kim /Around the same time she had fell in love with him” (referring to Kris Humphries.)
After hearing the lyrics, Kardashian and West began to see each other more often. It didn’t take long before they became a serious couple.

Fans were not pleased with West when he threw away nearly all of his future wife’s clothes. In an episode of KUWTK, the rapper came in to change Kardashian West’s entire wardrobe. Many people found this behavior somewhat controlling, and it even led to the reality star bursting into tears.
“I always thought I had really good style—until I met my husband, and he told me that I had the worst style,” Kardashian recalled, according to W Magazine. “He was really nice about it and cleaned out my whole closet.”
“I probably had 250 pairs of shoes, and when we were done cleaning it out, I had two pairs left, and I cried,” Kardashian confessed.

In an episode of KUWTK, West told his wife that he didn’t like her wearing clothes that were “too sexy” for the public. “You are my wife, and it affects me when pictures are too sexy,” Kanye told her, according to Entertainment Tonight.
Kardashian West was not happy with this response. She shot back, “You’re giving me really bad anxiety… I don’t need any more negative energy.” Later, she declared, “You built me up to be a sexy person and have confidence! Just because you’re on a journey and you’re in a transformation doesn’t mean I’m in the same spot with you.”
