Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, is committed to creating a better co-parenting relationship with his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian. The rapper and Keeping Up With the Kardashians star have had difficulty in recent months settling on co-parenting issues and Ye has taken to social media to air his frustrations out. Now, Ye promises he won’t engage in such behavior moving forward.

Kanye West reportedly told Kim Kardashian he is seeking help

Ye has been ranting online for months regarding his grievances with Kardashian over their divorce, her relationship with Pete Davidson, and custody arrangements for their four children. Things became so concerning that Kardashian reportedly texted Ye pleading with him to stop, which he also shared online. Kardashian also told a judge that she was under emotional distress and their children were impacted due to Ye’s online antics.

It appears that Ye got the hint as a source told Page Six that he would do better moving forward. “For the sake of the kids, Kanye has told Kim he’s not making any public appearances or inflammatory social media statements, and he will go away somewhere to get better,” the source said. The source added that it wasn’t clear if the DONDA rapper, 44, planned to go into a treatment facility to address such problems.

A rep for West told the media outlet that such is true. “At this time, Ye is committed to a healthy co-parenting relationship with Kim and is and focused on raising their beautiful children,” the rep said.

Davidson and Kardashian have been dating since October 2021. Kardashian filed to divorce West in Feb. 2021 and was declared legally single in early March 2022. She’s also officially dropping West from her name and businesses.

The rapper also had his 2022 GRAMMY Award performance offer rescinded

In the middle of the storm with Kardashian and Davidson, Ye’s 2022 GRAMMY Award performance offer was rescinded and he was banned from performing. A source said that the decision was made due to Ye’s “concerning online behavior.” Despite him no longer being able to perform, DONDA was nominated for five awards, including in the coveted category of Album of the Year.

Ye made the decision overall to not attend the award show. For many, it wasn’t shocking due to his rep telling Page Six he wouldn’t be making any more public appearances in the foreseeable future.

Regardless, he won two awards: one for Best Rap Song for “Jail” and another Best Melodic Rap Performance for “Hurricane”.” Ye hasn’t publicly spoken about anything related to his absence at the show.

He previously had his Instagram account suspended

Ahead of the GRAMMYS and amid the drama with Kardashian, Ye’s Instagram account was suspended on March 16 for a day after the social media platform found the rapper guilty of violating a handful of their policies. A Meta spokesperson confirmed to the LA Times that Instagram restricted Ye from posting, commenting and sending direct messages, among other actions, on the app for a full 24 hours. It occurred nearly immediately after he called Tevor Noah a racial slur. Noah was this year’s GRAMMY ceremony host.

Instagram also deleted content from the Yeezy founder’s page that it said fell under the categories of hate speech, bullying and harassment. The social media app executives warned they would take further action against Ye should future posts continue to break their rules.

The ban came after Ye called Noah a “c–n.” In the Black community, a “c–n” is a term used to describe a Black person who is anti-black and acts against Black people for the progression of their own good and for white acceptance. Ye made the remark in response to comments Noah made about Ye seemingly stalking Kardashian over her new relationship with Davidson.
