Kanye West’s Wedding With Bianca Censori Was the Opposite of Kim Kardashian’s According to Source
Kanye West’s eras with both Kim Kardashian and Bianca Censori have been very different from each other. But so were West’s weddings with his two beaus. An insider explained how West’s marriage ceremonies with Kardashian and Censori reflected the lifestyles he shares with them.

West and Kardashian had an extravagant marriage ceremony when they walked down the aisle in 2014. According to People, West and Kardashian had a rehearsal dinner in Paris before flying their guests over to Italy where the actual wedding took place. 200 guests arrived to watch the power couple tie the knot. Some of which included famous faces like Jaden Smith, Common, Scott Disick and several Kardashian sisters. West expected Jay-Z and his wife to be there as well, but their marriage issues at the time prevented them from attending the ceremony. The overall cost of the wedding was reportedly $2.8 million.
On the flip side, West’s wedding with Censori was a very private affair. They pair got married in Beverly Hills on December, 2022, and obtained a confidential marriage license. A source close to the two hinted that West might’ve preferred the newfound privacy he found in his relationship with Censori. It was a far cry away from West’s more high-profile romance with Kardashian.
“Kanye has been a megastar for two decades and counting, and his first marriage was to someone who lives almost full-time in front of a camera,” the insider said according to Marca. “Bianca and Ye have a totally different vibe. They are very private, very affectionate and totally devoted to each other. I think they both enjoy carving out time that’s just for them.”
But West’s marriage with Censori was of no concern to Kardashian if another source was to be believed. Speaking with ET, the insider alleged that Kardashian was “only focused on the well-being of her children.”

Kardashian filed for divorce from West in February, 2021, and officially parted ways with her ex in November, 2022. Both have been pretty silent about the specific reasons that caused their split. However, Kardashian has opened up from time to time about why she felt leaving West was necessary. Speaking with Vogue, the Reality star confided that she wanted to focus on her own well-being when she made choices. It was an approach to life she hadn’t taken before.
“For so long, I did what made other people happy,” she said. “And I think in the last two years I decided, I’m going to make myself happy. And that feels really good. And even if that created changes and caused my divorce, I think it’s important to be honest with yourself about what really makes you happy. I’ve chosen myself. I think it’s okay to choose you.”
“My 40s are about being Team Me. I’m going to eat well. I’m going to work out. I’m going to have more fun, spend more time with my kids and the people who make me happy,” she added. “I’m going to put my phone down. Unfollow if I don’t want to see something on Instagram. [My sister] Khloé came up with the best phrase for that yesterday. She said, ‘Post and ghost.'”
In a recent episode of Keeping up with the Kardashians, however, she delved a little further into her own experience with divorce. The confession came when she was consoling her sister Khloé, who was also reflecting on her divorce from Lamar Odom.
“I’ve been there when you don’t foresee something happening that really changes a person’s personality and then they’re not the same person and you can’t ever get that person back, but you can’t live with the new person. I get it,” she told her sister.
