Karl Glusman Hinted To Tough Times With Zoë Kravitz Before Their Divorce Filing
Actors Zoë Kravitz and Karl Glusman are headed for splitsville. Kravitz is calling it quits on her marriage after just 18 months. The reason for their split is unclear but both have hinted on social media that things haven’t been easy. On their one-year wedding anniversary, Glusman admitted in a tribute post that their first year of marriage was not as expected.

Over the summer, Glusman and Kravitz celebrated their one-year wedding anniversary. While Kravitz shared a black and white snapshot of the two cozied up from their big day with the caption, “one year,” Glusman went more into detail.
“One year. Not the year we expected… but I feel like if we can make it through this, we can take on anything,” he wrote, more than likely hinting to the chaos from the coronavirus and subsequent quarantine.

He continued: “I love you. More than anything. You’re my best friend… you crack me up and you melt my heart… you call me out on my bulls— and you challenge me to grow… I love you for that. And I’ll do anything and everything for you until the day I die. Now let’s go save the world @zoeisabellakravitz.”
The couple wed at Kravitz’s father, rock superstar Lenny Kravitz, Paris home in June 2019. The wedding guests included Nicole Kidman, Reese Witherspoon, Kravitz’s mother Lisa Bonet, and her stepfather Jason Momoa.
They first were linked in 2016. Kravitz said she learned Glusman had a crush on her but he was too bashful to approach her. She invited him to an afterparty where sparks between the two flew. They even shared a kiss that night.
Glusman moved into Kravitz’s home shortly after they began dating and within two years, the couple became engaged.

People Magazine reports that Kravitz filed divorce documents on Dec. 23. A rep for Kravitz confirmed such to the publication. It’s unclear what triggered the split.
Kravitz however hinted to starting anew in a New Year’s Eve Instagram post to her account’s story. She posted an image of a woman throwing garbage into a large trash pin with the saying, “People, places, and things that no longer serve my greatest and highest good” on the trash bag. Kravitz captioned the story, “MOOD.”

This is the first marriage for Kravitz. She previously dated actor Ben Foster for less than a year from 2007-2008. She also dated actors Ezra Miller and Michael Fassbender. Her longest public relationship prior to her marriage with Glusman was with Penn Badgley.
Others Kravitz has been linked to include James Levy, Drake, Noah Gabriel Becker, and Chris Pine.
Glusman’s dating history isn’t as known. Prior to Kravitz, he reportedly dated Klara Kristin and Aomi Muyock. Glusman’s Instagram account currently only includes two photos, neither are with Kravitz. As of now, Kravitz’s Instagram account still includes photos of her with Glusman.
