Kate Middleton officially returned to royal duties back in September 2024. However, the Princess of Wales continues to take things slow as she makes a full recovery from her cancer diagnosis received earlier this year. The public has been rooting for Kate, who recently made two appearances in just a handful of days in November.

Now, people are thrilled to learn that Kate is gearing up for her biggest royal event of the year — up until now, people weren’t sure it would happen.

Kate Middleton just announced her Together at Christmas Carol Service

Earlier this year, Kate announced that she would be pausing royal duties to focus on her health after she was diagnosed with cancer. The Princess of Wales took almost the full year off of work, and people were rooting for her and proud that she was putting herself first. Now, she’s back, but she has still only made a handful of royal appearances as she readjusts to a typical royal schedule. However, the princess just announced that she is planning to hold her annual Together at Christmas concert, and the public is elated.

First launched in 2021, the concert is broadcast on television in the UK on Christmas Eve. Last year, many family members came to support Kate, including Princess Beatrice and Pippa Middleton.

In an Instagram post, the Prince and Princess of Wales announced that the concert is coming back this year. “The invitations are fresh off the press for this year’s Together At Christmas Carol Service, which will be returning to Westminster Abbey on Friday 6 December,” part of the Instagram caption read. The event will likely see the entire Wales family. Last year, Prince Louis attended the concert for the first time alongside Prince William, Prince George, and Princess Charlotte.

Fans are elated to see that the concert is coming back

People took to the Instagram comments section to express how happy they were to see the concert’s return because it ultimately signals that Kate is in good health.

“Very good news: She clearly is feeling better and better,” one person wrote.

“So happy to know that she is feeling better and healthier every day,” someone else commented.

Other people even added that Kate’s Christmas show has become a regular part of their holiday celebration. “It’s becoming a family tradition. Much like the King’s speech on Christmas day. Looking forward to watching,” one user said.

Kate’s event is not watchable in the United States unless you have a Britbox membership, or you can subscribe to Britbox through Amazon Prime.
