Most people report to their jobs, and as soon as the workday is over, they can go home and forget about the job until the next workday. Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge‘s job is nothing like that. As the future queen consort, she has to be ready, willing, and able to carry out royal duties whenever needed, and there is no doubt that things can get more than a little hectic.
In recent months, Kate has been faced with enormous changes that are going on in the royal family, and to say that it is difficult has been an understatement. In the wake of Megxit, Kate and Prince William have been taking on even more duties, and they are also dealing with things that are out of their control.
While there are many people who simply wouldn’t be able to handle the gigantic workload, Kate has a way of making it look so easy. She never seems to get tired or frustrated, and somehow manages to get everything done and then some. From the day that Kate and Prince William got engaged, Kate knew that she would one day be a queen consort. This is no easy task to take on, as the duchess surely knows that she will be more closely watched than she is now.
Even though her husband is second in line for the throne, Kate is already preparing for her role. How so? Well, she has been taking on more patronages lately and has even taken on some from the queen. Continuing to interact with members of the public and serve them well remain at the top of Kate’s list.
Going strong during the pandemic
The global pandemic has devastated countries around the world. People are forced to remain at home on lockdown, schools are closed, and workers must perform their job duties remotely.
While this has proved to be an extreme burden, it doesn’t appear to have fazed Kate one bit. Even with her three children at home, the two older ones doing distance learning, she has managed to stay in contact with Zoom calls.
And, according to DailyMail, she has even been working on a project called Hold Still. This photographic project is close to Kate’s heart, and she released a video urging people to participate and praising the current submissions.
What else is Kate doing to keep busy? Well, she is taking care of her three children each day. Apparently, they have been doing quite a bit of baking during the lockdown, and they have been playing outside and taking bike rides, all while abiding by the current social distancing rules.

Even during these difficult times, it is well-known that Kate is at the top of her game, and also destroying an entire industry! What is the duchess doing? Well, despite all the added responsibility and pressure, she continues to thrive as she finds ways to promote unity in the United Kingdom.
Part of the excellent job that she is doing is the fact that she takes beautifully candid photos of her kids, which paparazzi just cannot compete with. According to Daily Mail, these photos are more personal than the paparazzi could ever get, and a source says that the duchess is “killing the market.”
The photographers in England have always had a significant connection to the royals, and Kate is managing to single-handedly demonstrate a cultural shift by herself. Just another way that the Duchess of Cambridge is so unbelievably amazing.
