Kate Middleton Says Her and Prince William’s Kids ‘Love’ to Visit Garden Centers
Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis are the children of Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William, Duke of Cambridge. They live in lavish royal residences and travel all over the world as members of the Britsh royal family. But it’s the little things in life they enjoy. It seems the Cambridge kids have inherited their mother’s fondness of nature.
Kate Middleton loves the outdoors
The 38-year-old relishes spending time outside. Active in sports and outdoor activities growing up, it’s remained a favorite of Catherine’s in her adult years. As a royal, the Duchess of Cambridge dresses up for many occasions but she’s right at home in jeans and boots walking through the countryside.
Her love of nature is evident in the projects she takes on as a working royal. With It’s no surprise Catherine’s passed along her love of nature to George, Charlotte, and Louis.

Slowly, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are putting in-person royal engagements back on their schedules. Self-isolating at Anmer Hall, their summer home given to them by Queen Elizabeth II, William and Catherine have utilized video calls up until now.
Embarking on their first royal engagements since the coronavirus lockdown, the Duchess of Cambridge visited the Fakenham Garden Centre on June 18, 2020, while William visited a bakery.
Meeting with the owners and staff members, Catherine shared that all three of her kids enjoy garden centers, according to Express.
“They love it! It’s such a great space for children and families to come to garden centres,” she said.
Had Catherine invited Louis, George, and Charlotte to tag along on the visit, they probably would’ve jumped at the chance.
Kate Middleton helps design a garden
At the 2019 Chelsea Flower Show, Catherine unveiled a garden she helped design. Featured on the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s official Instagram, they shared some sweet snaps.
In the photos, William, George, Charlotte, and Louis are exploring the Back to Nature Garden. It has a campfire, treehouse, waterfall and other features. The couple also shared how their kids contributed to the project. They helped by gathering moss, leaves, and twigs.
The 2020 Chelsea Flower Show couldn’t proceed as normal due to the coronavirus. Because of that, Catherine marked the occasion on Instagram. She shared a never-before-seen photo of herself working in her 2019 garden.
Clearly, the Duchess of Cambridge loves nature and so do George, Charlotte, and Louis. Here’s hoping we get to see the kids work on another garden soon!
