Katy Perry Revealed Her Ex-Boyfriend Who Was the Worst in Bed
Katy Perry is currently in a long-term relationship with Orlando Bloom, but she can list a number of other celebrities as her ex-boyfriends. In an appearance on Spill Your Guts or Fill Your Guts with host James Corden, Perry faced the choice of eating something gross or ranking three of her ex-boyfriends from worst to best in bed. Perry revealed the person who took the last-place spot.
Katy Perry ranked her ex-boyfriends
In 2017, Perry appeared on Corden’s Spill Your Guts or Fill Your Guts segment. As she sat in a bathrobe and sleep mask, Corden asked her to choose between answering a question or eating the food before her on the table. Her options included bird saliva, cow’s tongue, scorpion, and shots of soy sauce and mayo.
When faced with the choice of eating a 1,000-year-old egg or ranking three of her ex-boyfriends’ abilities in beds, Perry chose the latter.
“From best to worst in bed — but this is working on the notion that they’re all good — rank John Mayer, Diplo, and Orlando Bloom,” Corden said.
Perry was hesitant and initially dodged the question.
“They’re all amazing lovers and I would have sex with all of them after I get out of this place,” she said.
In an effort to help Perry, Corden said he believed Diplo was the worst because “there’s a reason people become DJs.” Perry agreed to this ranking. Bloom came in second place and Mayer placed first.

Diplo, who dated Perry briefly in 2014, responded to Perry’s rankings on Corden’s show. First, he tweeted, “I don’t even remember having sex” (via Billboard). Later, he posted a photo of himself on stage with the caption, “I won the bronze [medal] in sex Olympics.”
Mayer didn’t respond as directly. When asked by Rolling Stone, he mostly dodged the question.
“I don’t have a cool enough thought for you,” he said. “I’ve hacked this game. I pay very little of the price of fame now. I get to play the music that moves me the most. I’m having the time of my life. I’m 39 – I remember 32. I don’t wanna do it again.”
She spoke about how much she loved John Mayer
While Perry and Bloom were not together at the time, they have since reunited, gotten engaged, and had a child together. Perry also had an on-and-off-again relationship with Mayer. They first began dating after her divorce from Russell Brand in 2012. She said she was deeply in love with him.
“I was madly in love with him,” she told Vogue after one of their breakups. “I still am madly in love with him … All I can say about that relationship is that he’s got a beautiful mind. Beautiful mind, tortured soul. I do have to figure out why I am attracted to these broken birds.”
The couple broke up for good in 2015.
