Katy Perry Reveals 1 Surprising Item Around the House That Her Daughter Is Currently Into
Katy Perry is known for being a world-famous singer, but she is now also a mom. She and her fiancé, Orlando Bloom, have a child together named Daisy.
Perry recently shared some details about the current chapter of her parenthood journey, and she revealed a surprising item that her daughter is very into at the moment.

Perry and Bloom started dating in 2016 and got engaged in 2019. In August 2020, Perry gave birth to Daisy.
Perry has shared some exciting discoveries about motherhood with media outlets. She told Variety in 2021, “I never really truly knew about unconditional love. Obviously my mother has that for me, but I didn’t really experience it in the first-person until I had my child. And that was just a whole ‘nother level. I think I see through the eyes of a child — like my life and my art always feels playful — so it’s amazing to be able to relate to kids even in your deep 30s.”
Additionally, Perry also revealed to Audacy earlier this year that she and Bloom help each other juggle careers and parenting.
“I have a great partner that is such a wonderful help. And when I’m not working, I’m just in 24/7 mom-zone,” she explained. “And when Orlando’s in between films, he’s there pulling the weight. We’re just a great team.”
Perry is also a stepmother to Bloom’s son, Flynn, from his previous marriage.
Katy Perry reveals what Daisy is currently into
Daisy is now 17 months old and has some things that interest her. Perry was recently asked about this during an appearance on Live with Ryan and Kelly.
“What is she into? Well, you know what I think? I think if you gave all of the toys that you ever wanted to to a kid they would still want to touch electrical outlets,” Perry shared. “I think—I don’t even know if this is on the market—but someone should make like a plushy electrical outlet or something.”
Host Kelly Ripa commented, “I think the goal is to keep them away from them and not make them more enticing.”
Perry joked that a plushy could make use of “reverse psychology.” In any case, the singer acknowledged that her daughter is at the stage when she is “starting to push her boundaries,” including by throwing food.

Perry has been a pop star for over a decade, and she has noticed some funny similarities between her day job and being a mother.
When Perry guest-hosted The Ellen DeGeneres Show back in October 2021, she joked, “Now that I’m a mom, my life is actually kinda totally different. And yet, I realized it’s kinda similar to being a pop star. You’re up all night—usually holding a bottle of some kind. There’s vomit on the floor. And your boobs are always out.”
