Kenya Moore Finalizes Divorce Amid ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’ Suspension
Kenya Moore’s future with The Real Housewives of Atlanta remains questionable after she allegedly shared intimate photos of a new cast member at her recent salon opening. While Moore’s career has a big question mark looming, her relationship status is crystal clear. Her divorce from Marc Daly is final, three years after she initially filed paperwork and six months after Moore claimed everything had been figured out.
Kenya Moore and Marc Daly’s relationship ended more than once
While Daly and Moore have been separated since 2019, there is a reason they just got around to finalizing their divorce. The couple actually split up twice. In 2019, they announced the end of their union. The legal side of things didn’t get moving right away, though. The following year, they briefly hooked back up to keep their family intact. Despite their best efforts, they parted ways again.
Moore finally called it quits when she filed divorce paperwork in August 2021. The end of their marriage was not a quick one. The exes battled over marital property and assets that existed before they wed in 2017. They also took time to come to an agreement about custody issues and how their daughter would be raised.
A judge finally signed off on the divorce this month. Now that Kenya Moore and Marc Daly’s divorce has been finalized, they are both free to move on. At the very least, it is one less thing for Moore to worry about. The reality TV personality has much bigger fish to fry at the moment. Shortly before her divorce was finalized, Moore was suspended from The Real Housewives of Atlanta. The cast is filming without her.
Details of their divorce settlement have been revealed
Three years after Kenya Moore filed for divorce from Marc Daly, she’s officially single again. According to In Touch, a judge signed off on the dissolution of her marriage this week. The publication obtained the official court filings and has learned exactly how the couple resolved their issues.
According to the publication, Moore will retain primary physical custody of their daughter, Brooklyn, but the former couple is sharing legal custody of the five-year-old girl. According to the court filings, Daly has been ordered to hand over $2,000 per month to help with Brookyln’s care. He must also contribute $12,000 annually to an already established college fund. Brooklyn is the only child they share. Daly and Moore were both allowed to keep the property they brought into the marriage.
Moore appears to be single, but her ex apparently isn’t. Back in February, Moore suggested her ex was already engaged to another woman despite a judge not yet signing off on their divorce. She made the statement during an appearance on The Breakfast Club. Moore didn’t share additional details about Daly’s love life during her appearance. Daly has not responded publicly to Moore’s admission.
