Kenya Moore Slams Bravo Culture as ‘Toxic’ Following Sudden Departure From ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’

Kenya Moore has stepped away from 'RHOA' but she doesn't seem happy about it. She took to Instagram to insist she'll continue to thrive now that she's not in a 'toxic' environment. Fans think she's calling out Bravo.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta fans dealt with a massive cast shakeup after season 15 wrapped. While Cynthia Bailey insists the upcoming season is going to be the best yet, there has been plenty of drama while in production. Now, fans won’t be seeing Kenya Moore when season 16 premieres on Bravo. The longtime housewife has departed the series after being suspended from production earlier this month.

Kenya Moore departs ‘RHOA’ following filming suspension

Kenya Moore will not return to the set of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. TMZ broke the news that longtime housewife Kenya Moore would depart The Real Housewives of Atlanta after Bravo suspended her earlier this month. The publication claims Kenya Moore and Bravo mutually agreed to part ways “for now,” although Moore doesn’t appear happy about the turn of events.

Moore was suspended from filming season 16 of the series after an alleged revenge porn incident. Allegedly, Moore used intimate and explicit photos of RHOA newcomer Brittany Eady during the opening of her hair spa. According to insiders, Bravo cameras were on hand when the pictures were unveiled, although Eady was not present. Moore has defended herself multiple times since the allegations. Still, it looks like the damage between the beauty queen and Bravo is officially done.

Kenya Moore reportedly agreed to step down from The Real Housewives of Atlanta, but she’s clearly unhappy about how everything unfolded. The former Miss USA took to Instagram on June 26 to address her departure from the series. While Moore didn’t name Bravo outright, she did thank her fans for their support. She also said, “My daughter and I will continue to thrive in a non toxic environment where we feel appreciated and most importantly, protected.” Moore finished off her caption by insisting she would be bringing the receipts. She insists she can prove that she did not share revenge porn during her salon opening.

Moore might not be stating that she has an issue with Bravo outright. Still, viewers largely agree the “toxic environment” claims are at the network and its controversial executive, Andy Cohen. Moore isn’t the only one who has criticized the reality-focused channel.

Other housewives have criticized the network

Kenya Moore isn’t the first The Real Housewives star to call Bravo and the production team out for allegedly toxic behavior. She isn’t even the first housewife to suggest, in a roundabout way, that the network threw her under the bus.

Brandi Glanville has been vocal on social media about feeling “set up” by Bravo. Her allegations came after Caroline Manzo claimed Glanville sexually assaulted her while on the set of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip. In a tweet on X (formerly Twitter), Glanville said that the production team told her to “bring the party” and only denounced her “behavior” after Manzo filed a lawsuit against the network. Glanville has insisted the network used her as the lawsuit progresses. She was not named in the complaint.

Several other housewives have grown tired and irritated with the network, Andy Cohen, and the Housewives installments they were involved in over the years. Carole Radziwill has had well-publicized issues with Cohen despite once being friends. Bethenny Frankel said she would fight for “systemic change” at the network after a public fallingout. Radziwill and Frankel both appeared on The Real Housewives of New York City.

Bravo has not responded to Moore’s statement. It is unclear what the former housewife’s move will be, but legal action is possible, sources claim.
