Kenya Moore Speaks out About Incident That Led to Her ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’ Suspension
Kenya Moore has spent more than 10 years on The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Her time with Bravo may be coming to an end, though. The former Miss USA is in hot water after allegedly displaying photos of another cast member performing sex acts at the grand opening of her new hair spa. According to reports, Bravo has suspended the reality TV star until further notice and has continued to film season 16 without Moore. Moore has responded to the allegations.
Why was Kenya Moore suspended by Bravo?
Kenya Moore has been suspended from The Real Housewives of Atlanta. The longtime cast mate was reportedly in the middle of filming season 16 when Bravo removed her from the cast. According to sources, she will be sitting out of filming until an internal investigation is completed.
The suspension alleged stems from an incident involving sexual images of Brittany Eady, a new The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Moore allegedly displayed explicit images of Eady during the grand opening of her salon, Kenya Moore Hair Spa. According to insiders, Bravo cameras were on hand for the event and captured footage of the images being displayed.
Eady was apparently not on-site during the reveal. Still, Kenya Moore was heard talking badly about the new cast member during the event. According to Page Six, Moore was caught calling Eady a “cheap w***e” and claiming the new reality star is an escort in leaked audio from the event. Eady has taken to social media to address the situation in recent days. She said she was shocked and hurt to be a victim of hazing. She is one of three new housewives to join the cast of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. It is unclear why Moore took aim at Eady.
Kenya Moore has responded to the incident
Moore’s suspension remains indefinite. The reality TV star has taken to social media to defend herself while the drama plays out. Last week, Moore took to X (formerly Twitter) to address the situation after rumors about the event began to fly. She told followers she would be “vindicated” as she always has been. Moore went on to insist that she would never engage in revenge porn and did not seek out private pictures of anyone. She did not use Eady’s name in her post.
Moore has spent the days since issuing her statement reposting supportive tweets. She has been using her other social media platforms to keep fans up to date on what is happening in her life. The business owner has remained unbothered by the suspension, it seems. Only time will tell if and when she’ll return to The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast. While Moore is suspended, the other cast members have continued filming. It is unclear if fans will see the drama between Moore and Eady unfold.
