‘Ketamine Queen’ Who Allegedly Sold Matthew Perry Drugs Posted ‘Callous’ Message on Social Media After His Death
Jasveen Sangha, the so-called “Ketamine Queen” who allegedly supplied the drugs that killed actor Matthew Perry, was living the high life in the weeks and months after his tragic death. The 41-year-old – who is currently behind bars awaiting trial on multiple charges, including conspiracy to distribute ketamine – posted about trips to Mexico and Japan while Perry’s family, friends, and fans were mourning the loss of the Friends star.
‘Ketamine Queen’ Jasveen Sangha supplied Matthew Perry with drugs, prosecutors say
Perry died on Oct. 28, 2023, at his home in Los Angeles. The cause was “acute effects of ketamine,” followed by drowning. He was 54.
In August 2024, prosecutors charged Sangha and four other people they say supplied the Friends star with drugs: Perry’s personal assistant Kenneth Iwamasa; two physicians, Dr. Mark Chavez and Dr. Salvador Plasencia; and Erik Fleming.
Fleming, Chavez, and Iwamasa have all pleaded guilty. Sangha and Plasencia have pleaded not guilty to charges of conspiracy to distribute ketamine. Sangha has also been charged with one count of maintaining a drug-involved premises, one count of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, one count of possession with intent to distribute ketamine, and five counts of distribution of ketamine. A trial has been set for March 4, 2025.

Sangha’s Instagram includes posts about her recent trips to Cozumel and Tokyo. But her homebase was an apartment in North Hollywood, from which she reportedly ran her drug distribution business. When authorities raided the unit, they found 79 vials of ketamine, along with cocaine and pills containing methamphetamine, The New York Times reported.
With Fleming and Iwamasa acting as go-betweens, Sangha is accused of providing drugs to Perry. A few weeks before his death, she offered a sample to give to the actor. “It’s amazing – he take one and try it and I have more if he likes,” she said, according to the indictment. On Oct. 25, she sold 25 vials of ketamine to Iwasama on behalf of Perry, throwing in an “add on” of ketamine lollipops as a bonus for his large order. A few days later, Perry was dead. Afterward, Sangha reached out to Fleming, telling him to “delete all our messages.”
But as time passed, Sangha’s fears about her ties to Perry apparently waned. In July 2024, she posted a photo on Instagram of a bracelet reading “mushy” and including several mushroom charms.
“Pulling out old raver candy #ravetothegrave,” she captioned the post.
The post suggested that Sangha “cannot be stopped and will persist in her drug lifestyle until death,” read court documents, according to the Times. For Sangha, who prosecutors say also sold drugs to a man who died of an overdose in 2019 they were “a callous choice of words, considering that her actions have sent two victims to theirs,”
