When the Kardashians get into a relationship with anyone, the headlines about it are likely to stretch for months, if not years. Khloé Kardashian knows this firsthand.

From her high-profile relationship with Lamar Odom to a slue of others since then, Khloe has found her way into headlines, both good and bad. Her drama with NBA star Tristan Thompson showed her child’s father allegedly canoodling with Kylie Jenner’s best friend, Jordyn Woods.

The part that bothered her, however, may surprise some people.

Khloé Kardashian came into the Kardashian family fame as a secondary piece behind her older sister Kim. However, her bold personality mixed perfectly with the rest of the family’s, and fans began to notice her away from the reality TV show.

Her first high-profile relationship was with former NBA player Rashad McCants.

After that, Kardashian briefly dated former NFL player Derrick Ward. Her biggest relationship, however, was with then-Laker Lamar Odom. At the time, the Los Angeles Lakers were the talk of the NBA town.

With Odom on a team that was on the verge of a back-to-back title run, Kardashian became a fixture at the Lakers’ games. The pair got married in 2009. After five years together, however, they got divorced.

Khloé Kardashian on fidelity

Kardashian moved on to a high-profile romance with rapper French Montana after speculation that she broke up his previous relationship.

However, after calling it quits, she went back to the NBA with a relationship with future MVP James Harden. Harden and Kardashian were a power couple for a brief spell.

The first cheating drama arose after Harden allegedly saw other women while demanding exclusivity from Kardashian.

She spoke about Harden’s hypocrisy on an episode of her web show, Kocktails with Khloé. From E! Online:

“I just don’t want to put up with people that you want to be monogamous but then they’re not monogamous,” she said. “I’ve always said, ‘It’s long distance.’ I’ve always said, ‘We don’t need to be monogamous!… There’s a lot of sh*t going on in our lives. You live in Houston. I live in L.A. Let’s see each other when we see each other.’ He wanted [a relationship]. I wanted it, but I wanted to be realistic. He sought me out. He wanted to be committed and, you know, then wasn’t committed. So Koko had to go go!”

Kardashian rebounded with another NBA player, Tristan Thompson. After months of high-profile romance and a baby announcement, however, things began to sour.

Thompson was caught on multiple occasions with what appeared to be other women on the road. In particular, one video reportedly showed Thompson canoodling around when Khloe was getting ready to give birth.

The final straw, however, was Thompson’s relationship with Jordyn Woods. After Woods admitted that the two got close, albeit without actual cheating, a months-long saga began.

As some pointed out, Kardashian had been on both ends of this type of drama, although her pointed criticisms when she was on the receiving end made some consider what her actual views on the matter were.

Fans on Reddit spoke about Kardashian’s past and pointed out how she handled Woods and Thompson’s perceived betrayal. While many speculated that Khloe was mad about the infidelity, Reddit user chicagost4rs had a somewhat different take on the matter.

The Kardashians are a family known for high-profile self-marketing. Every paparazzi photo of them appears to be somewhat calculated in nature. As such, they like to control the narrative. When the narrative gets away from them, however, things go quickly sour.

Whether or not this was the case with Kardashian, it makes people think about the different world that celebrities live in.
