Source Claims This Is How Khloé Kardashian Is Handling Tristan Thompson’s Baby Drama
Khloé Kardashian is no stranger to being in the news for drama pertaining to her ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson. Now that Thompson is allegedly the father of personal trainer Maralee Nichols‘ baby, Kardashian allegedly can’t be bothered to deal with another scandal surrounding her ex, according to source claims.
Khloé Kardashian allegedly is staying out of the Tristan Thompson drama, a source claims
Kardashian and Thompson have rekindled their romance a number of times. And each time, rumors of infidelity have come between them. This time, Kardashian is allegedly facing the drama head-on.
“After the Tristan drama unfolded, Khloé knew she would be asked questions by people everywhere she went,” a source told Hollywood Life. “Khloé wasn’t in hiding because she made a very public appearance for the People’s Choice Awards, but that was a controlled environment where she could dictate the narrative.”
According to the source, Kardashian didn’t have “the time or energy to speak on something that’s none of her business.” Despite the messiness of it all, Kardashian allegedly won’t be cutting off contact with Thompson.
“At the end of the day, Tristan will always be True’s dad and that’s really all that matters,” the source said.
Thompson’s relationship with Nichols happened while he was with Kardashian
As the paternity drama has gone on, more information about Thompson’s relationship with Nichols has come to light. According to Daily Mail, the two hooked up at a number of hotels over a three-month stint. Thompson has admitted to having sex with Nichols around his birthday in March. Fans of Kardashian will remember that Thompson and the reality star were together around this time.
“Contrary to Petitioner’s many inferences in her declaration, we did not have a serious ongoing relationship,” Thompson said in court filings obtained by Daily Mail. “We saw each other sporadically between December 2020 and March 13, 2021 and did not have sexual intercourse in California during that time. Petitioner told me that she had been involved with other athletes and understood the limitations of our relationship; to-wit, that we might see each other on a sporadic basis for consensual casual sex only.
“From December 2020 through March 2021, we saw other on such a basis,” he continued. “We never had any telephone calls, emails, nor did we exchange text messages. We only communicated via the Snapchat application.”
He went on to say that he met up with Nichols in November or December. Nichols also came to his house in Los Angeles twice.
“I only recall that Petitioner and I had sexual relations in March of 2021 and at no other time in 2021,” he wrote. “Petitioner constantly used the term ‘hook up’ to describe our relationship which was the reality. I am certain that if the child is deemed to be my child that the only date of conception was March 13, 2021, because it was my birthday.”
Thompson allegedly doesn’t want to be in the child’s life
Thompson previously asked Nichols to drop the paternity lawsuit, offering her $75,000 to do so. In alleged texts to Nichols obtained by Radar, Thompson reportedly told Nichols that she wouldn’t get much child support from him. “You are aware that I’m retiring after this season,” he allegedly wrote. “So in terms of support it will be whatever is required monthly for someone who’s unemployed.”
He also allegedly told her he wouldn’t be in the child’s life. “You know how I feel. My feelings haven’t changed at all. Won’t be involved at all,” a text allegedly read.
