Will Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson Get Married? She Hints at a Future Wedding in ‘KUWTK’ Series Finale
Keeping Up With the Kardashians aired its final episode ever on June 10 after 20 seasons on E!. In the bittersweet finale, the Kardashian-Jenners lay out their plans for the future as their beloved show comes to an end.
While some of the family members came to the realization that their next chapters in life don’t include relationships with the same people, Khloé Kardashian sees a bright future ahead as she hopes to have another baby someday and possibly get married again.
Khloé Kardashian wants to get married but is hesitant to tie the knot again
Kardashian and her on-again-off-again boyfriend, Tristan Thompson, have a rocky past. Though many thought that she was done with him for good after he cheated on her with Kylie Jenner’s former BFF Jordyn Woods in February 2019, the Good American founder eventually forgave him.
Since then, the pair have been making strides to keep their relationship intact. In the summer of 2020, Kardashian and Thompson decided to give their romance another go.
With their family back together, Kardashian and Thompson have been thinking a lot about their future and have discussed the next steps they plan to take after KUWTK comes to an end.
In the series finale, Kardashian reflects on what she wants to see happen in her life in the next few years while sitting down with sister Kim Kardashian West during their family vacation in Lake Tahoe.
“I hope I have a sibling for True,” Khloé informs the SKIMS founder. “But also, I don’t feel incomplete if I don’t.”
As for marriage, the mother of one shared that she’s open to tying the knot again but doesn’t necessarily think it’s a priority.
“I don’t know. I think I want to be married again,” Kardashian explains. “I think. But I also don’t think I need to be married in order to feel like this is our union.”
Khloé Kardashian is still trying to ‘navigate’ through her feelings when it comes to her relationship with Thompson
Though Kardashian has already started looking to the future, she is a bit hesitant to take the next step with Thompson and move to Boston.
During the episode, the athlete, who plays for the Boston Celtics, speaks highly of the city while on a FaceTime call with the reality star. Though he wants Kardashian and their 3-year-old daughter True to spend the holidays with him on the east coast, she’s on the fence about it.
“I don’t know,” she tells Thompson after he expresses his desire for her and True to celebrate Christmas in Boston. “I have to just think about it.”
In a confessional, the Good American founder admits that she doesn’t know if she wants to move to Boston, sharing that she hasn’t fully processed if the change could benefit their relationship.
“It’s definitely weighing on me to figure out what to do,” she says. “Tristan and I are in a way better place than we were before, but I’m still trying to navigate my way through my feelings. I don’t know if I’ve really had time to think about what moving would mean for our relationship.”
Khloé Kardashian isn’t the only one questioning the future of her relationship
While Kardashian questioned her future with Thompson, Kim Kardashian West and Kourtney Kardashian realized that their respective relationships don’t have another chapter.
For the Poosh founder and Scott Disick, the exes are ready to move on with their lives after concluding that they are better off as friends.
Meanwhile, Kardashian West struggles with the state of her marriage to Kanye West.
“My husband moves from state to state. I’m just on this ride with him and I was OK with that,” the KKW Beauty mogul tells Kris Jenner. “And then after turning 40 this year, I realized like no, I don’t want a husband that lives in a completely different state.”
She continued, “I want someone that we have the same shows in common. I want someone that wants to work out with me. It’s the little things is what I don’t have. I have all the big things. I have the extravagant everything you could possibly imagine and no one will ever do it like that. I’m grateful for those experiences but I think I’m ready for the small experiences that will mean a lot.”
